Batman: Arkham City – DX11 Path is bugged; Rocksteady is working on a patch

Batman: Arkham City has just been released for the PC and although Rocksteady had a full month to tweak their game, it appears that the current build features a bugged DX11 mode. In other words, the DX11 path is causing performance issues and that’s something that Warner Bros has officially acknowledged. In order to avoid these issues, players are required to run the game in DX9 mode for the time being. Continue reading Batman: Arkham City – DX11 Path is bugged; Rocksteady is working on a patch

Dead Island – Bloodbath DLC is now available on the PC

Great news for zombie fans as Dead Island’s ‘Bloodbath DLC’ has just been released on Steam. The DLC is priced at 9.99 euros and features four 4 deadly and hazardous arenas, endless waves of zombies, supports both SP and co-op MP and leaderboard to challenge your friends. Now I don’t like this whole ‘DLC idea’, but I’m pretty sure that those who want more ‘zombie-ness’ will appreciate it. So go ahead and get it. Need For Speed: The Run; Black Box might remove the FPS cap via a future patch

One of the most annoying things in NFS: The Run – and one of the reasons we haven’t bothered with it for a Performance Analysis – is the fact that the game is capped at 30fps. Some users tried to unlock it but thus far, there hasn’t been any proper/working mod or workaround for it. All hope is not lost though as Executive Producer, Jason DeLong, and Producer, Brian Lindley, of NFS: The Run stated that they might remove this cap in a future patch. Mythos fans, rejoice; Mythos Global Closed Beta Announced

Last month, we informed you about the closure of the European servers for Mythos by Frogster. Well, rejoice everyone as Mythos Global is now a reality. Our guess is that Hanbitsoft and Frogster had some arguments about the game’s development and as a result of that, the former publisher decided to shut down its servers. However, Hanbitsoft has partnered with T3Fun and announced today that the highly anticipated dungeon-crawler ARPG Mythos – now renamed to Mythos Global – will hold a four-day closed beta test beginning on December 1st. Beta keys will be distributed by partner sites, so fans should stay tuned for a chance to participate. Continue reading Mythos fans, rejoice; Mythos Global Closed Beta Announced
