Embrace yourselves; Crysis 2 Co-op Demo Released

Playing co-op with a friend is always an enjoyable experience in games and Fudsine and his team have been working hard on bringing that experience to Crysis 2. Crytek sent us word that the demo of this modification is out now and players will be able to oppose the infamous pinger of Crysis 2 in Grand Central Station. Seriously now, Crytek should have implemented a Co-Op mode in the first place as it looks great. Unfortunately, the future of this mod is uncertain as a lot of members have left the team. Fudsine stated that they will patch the with any updates they make, meaning that more maps could find their way in it. GamersFirst today announced that APB Reloaded has surpassed 3 million registered users. The incredible milestone comes shortly after the game’s launch onto Valve’s Steam network where it has quickly carved a place among the most popular free games, ranking second at the time of this writing. Crytek Signs a Publishing Deal with Mail.Ru Group for Warface

Mail.Ru Group and Crytek announced today that they signed a publishing deal for Warface. The free-to-play first-person shooter (FPS) is based on Crytek’s award winning game development solution CryENGINE 3 and will be released and operated by Mail.Ru Group in Russia and the CIS countries. Report: Skyrim outsold every other PC game by a 3:1 ratio

Great news for Bethesda and Zenimax as the PC version of Skyrim has outsold every other PC game and is the fastest-selling game in Steam’s history. According to Bethesda’s and Valve’s reports, Skyrim has outsold every other PC game by a 3:1 ratio. As a result of that, the game is still at the top of Steam’s stats and is definitely great to see Bethesda and Zenimax acknowledging the PC fan-base. Well, at least they are not complaining about piracy – like pretty much everyone else – which is good in our books. Imagine now what will happen when the Creation Kit get’s released which will take the Skyrim experience to a whole new level. New dramatic and cinematic fan-made video of Battlefield 3

YouTube’s member ‘EvilViking13’ uploaded a new dramatic and cinematic video that shows off the silent beauty of Battlefield 3. EvilViking13 used Dxtory to capture the footage and then edited it with Sony Vegas 10. He also used Twixtor for some of the super-slow motion effects. Moreover, EvilViking13 used the “UI.drawenable false” command to hide his HUD and we bet that some of you will find this command useful as it adds a whole new level to realism. Enjoy! Skyrim Online Mod Released

This is awesome, this is really awesome. Modder AwpSoLeet developed a mod which let’s you play Bethesda’s RPG… online. Yeap, you read that right. Skyrim Online is real and although it has a few bugs, it really works. So yeah, players can play with their friends, chat with people worldwide, and trade with other players. This is simply mind-blowing and – perhaps – shows the future of The Elder Scrolls series. This is why we love modders guys, because they can offer us things that the companies hadn’t even bothered. We really hope that AwpSoLeet will keep developing it as it needs a lot of polish right now. So here is hoping that Bethesda want send him any C&D letter. DCS A-10C & Black Shark 2 1.1.1.1 patches bring massive features and fixes to the table

Eagle Dynamics released a massive update for two of its flight sim games, DCS: A-10C Warthog and DCS: Black Shark 2. The A-10C 1.1.1.1 patch provides a long list of improvements and fixes to the DCS series of products. In parallel with this patch, improvements have been made to the master multiplayer server to improve stability. The changelog is really huge and among other things, it comes with improvements to the tree shadow rendering and the game’s AI. Download links – as well as the entire changelog – can be found bellow.
