Magicka celebrates One Year Anniversary, new Magicka expansion announced

Paradox Interactive and Arrowhead Game Studios today announced that smash hit indie game Magicka has reached the one year mark and that the core game has sold 1.3 million copies to date. Moreover, Magicka: Vietnam has also gone on to sell more than 500,000 copies and various DLC available for the Magicka universe has been downloaded over 4 million times. Modern Warfare 3 – First Map Pack for non-Elite members will be available in March

Activision has released a new Map Pack for Modern Warfare 3, that is currently available only to the CoD Elite members. The first Map Pack includes two maps, ‘Liberation’ and ‘Piazza’, which are free to download for gamers that have a premium Elite membership. But what about those non-Elite gamers? Well, apparently they’ll have to wait a whole month, as the first Collection of these new maps will be made available to them in March. Unreal powered action space shooter, SOL: Exodus, receives its first update

Seamless Entertainment has released the first update for their action space shooter game that is built on the UDK, SOL: Exodus. This patch comes with some AI improvements, various fixes and support for 2560×1600 (16:10) and 2048×1152 (16:9) resolutions. Naturally, the update will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client and you can view its complete changelog bellow. iCEnhancer 2.0 GTA IV will offer 1.5/2x better performance than its 1.35 version; new screenshots released

iCEnhancer 2.0 is almost upon us and Hayssam Keilany has revealed some interesting new information about it. According to its author, this new version of iCEnhancer comes with 1.5/2x better performance than its previous version. Awesome news, right? This basically means that those of you with mid-range machines will be able to enjoy GTA IV with this amazing mod. Moreover, iCEnhancer 2.0 will be compatible with GTA IV’s 1070 version (compatibility was made available thanks to the CGE fix). iCEnhancer 2.0 is slated for release at the end of this month and you can view bellow some new screenshots from it. Dead Island – Ryder White DLC Campaign Trailer

Deep Silver today released a trailer showing the brand new story DLC “Ryder White” for the award-winning game Dead Island. The DLC will will be available early next week. This DLC offers a unique new perspective into the incidents in the main story of Dead Island: This time the player will get the chance to play as Ryder White, the antagonist of the main game; learn more about his motivations and why, from his point of view, he did what he had to do. Sniper Elite V2 – Developer Walkthrough

505 Games and Rebellion have released a new developer walkthrough for their upcoming sniper game, Sniper Elite V2. According to the devs, a new balistic system will be present in the game, meaning that players will have to take into consideration both gravity and wind while they’re taking their shots. Sounds interesting, however, we can’t help but notice some ‘features’ that will piss a lot of gamers. Third person covering system? Check. Melee take-downs similar to DE: HR? Check. Unpolished mechanics in various situations? Check. AI that is not as smart as you’d hoped to? Check. Oh, whatever. Enjoy the developer diary guys.
