Sony Online Entertainment has released some new GDC2012 screenshots for their upcoming MMORPG, PlanetSide 2. Planetside 2 will harness the power of SOE’s next-generation Forgelight MMO engine; a true technological feat, as it is specifically created to bring all of the best in class features from the single player arena to next-gen MMOs. Remember when Capcom misspelled Resident Evil Revelations title? Sure you do. Remember when they made a similar mistake with their Asura’s Wrath boxart? No? Well, Capcom repeated their mistake and there is a brand, new misspell error in their latest trailer for Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor. At the end of the trailer, we can notice a new company that is called Capcpom. Our guess is that Capcom misspelled their company name identionally and yeah, we did notice it. Nice one Capcom. Bethesda revealed something interesting in their blog a few hours ago. Remember those cool kill cams that were showcased in Skyrim Jam? Well, according to a post about the new version of Skyrim Beta Patch, kill cams will be added to ranged combat and magic. Bethesda went ahead and disabled the post, obviously because the update is not yet available on Steam. Or perhaps they posted this information too soon? Ubisoft has just revealed the debut trailer of Assassin’s Creed III. According to the company, this is in-engine footage, meaning that it’s not CG or anything like that. This is probably the image fidelity we’ll get, although the camera angles will obviously be different.
