Red 5 Studios has just revealed that they’ll lift the NDA from FireFall’s beta in April 6th. Not only that, but the company will turn the game’s beta servers on and leave them on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In case you were unaware of, there were specific times in which we could beta test this bad boy. This of course means that you’ll be getting lots of new screenshots and videos from the on-going beta and you should get excited about it. Now that was quick. Yesterday we reported about an incoming FOV patch for the PC version of The Darkness 2 and guess what, the patch has been deployed on Steam and is available as we speak. Although we don’t have any release notes about it, we do know that it includes a FOV slider to adjust the in-game field of view. Kalypso Media and Haemimont Games have released today the Modern Times DLC for Tropico 4. Originally scheduled for a March 23rd release, the DLC was unexpectedly delayed. We don’t know the reason behind this delay as Kalypso didn’t inform us about it. Still, those interested can go ahead now and purchase the DLC from here. Ubisoft has released a new trailer for their upcoming third-person tactical shooter, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Created by the team behind the console versions of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, the game promises to feature cutting-edge technology, prototype high-tech weaponry, and state-of-the-art single-player and multiplayer modes. Square Enix have released a new trailer for Sleeping Dogs, in which they showcase the driving mechanics and vehicles that will be supported in this third person shooter game. Among other things, Sleeping Dogs promises to feature one of the best melee combat systems out there. The game catapults players into the role of undercover cop Wei Shen, tasked with taking down one of the world’s most fearsome criminal organisations from the inside… the Hong Kong Triads. All hell has broken loose yesterday, when a lot of gaming sites reported that the new SimCity game would require an always-on internet connection in order to be played. Well, it seems that this is not entirely true as EA has made a clarification about it. As it was reported by GameSpy, the game will require an internet connection in order to be started.
