The Crucible of Omens is a promised mod for Doom 3. This mod is supposed to be a Single Player campaign that will be based on Looking Glass’ Thief series and the team is currently working hard on completing it. While there is still no ETA for its SP mode, the team decided to share some new screenshots from it. While The Dark Mod is first and foremost an SP mod, it currently ships with a toolkit and a training mission, thus providing people with all the tools necessary to create their own Medieval Steam-punk Fan Missions, and the community has already created over 50 full missions. Remember that MechWarrior mod for Crysis: Wars? What was that? You don’t? Shame on you. MechWarrior: Living Legends is a free, multiplayer mod for Crysis: Wars that offered us some truly amazing moments and was enough to quench our thirst for a MechWarrior game back in 2009 and 2010. The team behind it has been hard at work tweaking and improving it and has recently released its 0.5.6 version. Riot Games have released two new trailers for their free-to-play DOTA game, League of Legends. The first trailer is about the game’s Spectator Mode and according to the company, League of Legends’ Spectator Mode is currently entering its full release, with features like Spectate Your Friends, Featured Games, Timeshift Controls, and Directed Camera. On the other hand, the second trailer shows off some gameplay changes for existing champions and a number of items. Enjoy! Wolfire Games have released a new video in which David Rosen showcases the changes that have been made to the latest alpha version of Overgrowth. This week, David added an animation for swapping weapons from one hand to the other, added same-side sheathing animation and hooked up the cat scabbard as a weapon. Overgrowth looks lovely and we can’t wait till its alpha hits the ‘200’ mark (that was a joke mind you). Christine Love has just informed us about the release of her indie game on Steam. As Christine described, it’s about exploring the mystery of a long-lost generation ship with the help of a spunky AI sidekick! It’s a non-linear dark visual novel, all about transhumanism, traditional marriage and loneliness. The game was made in collaboration with Raide—one of the Katawa Shoujo artists—and has an original soundtrack composed by Isaac Schankler. The latest UK PC Retail and Steam Digital charts have been unveiled and as we can see, Football Manager 2012 and The Walking Dead are in the first places. As always, there is no real change in the UK Retail charts. Star Wars: The Old Republic gained some places, whereas Skyrim, Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai and Mass Effect 3 lost a few. The Witcher 2 dropped to the 11th place and is no longer in the Top10 and naturally, The Sims 3: Pets has managed to re-enter the charts. I tell you guys; Crytek should seriously hire MaLDo. After a long break, the modder is back and has introduced some truly amazing new features to the upcoming version of his MaLDoHD mod. The latest version of MaLDoHD will come with a new manhole, a new puddle, parallax on distant buildings and FDR on walls. To demonstrate those changes, the modder has released some shots that can be viewed below. MaLDo has outdone himself and Crysis 2 looks – almost – like a completely new game with his mod.
