Deep Silver has released the first screenshots and a teaser trailer for Techland’s upcoming Dead Island game, Dead Island: Riptide. According to the publisher, Dead Island: Riptide is a spin-off and not a sequel to the first Dead Island game. After escaping in a helicopter to the safety of a military ship, a furious storm hits and the virus suddenly spreads throughout the crew. Therefore, the island of Palanai is crawling with new zombie mutations and of course, our survivors wash up on it’s shores. Perfect World Entertainment has released some PAX screenshots – and a trailer – for its upcoming free-to-play MMORPG, Neverwinter. The publisher has also confirmed an early 2013 release date for Neverwinter, providing developer Cryptic Studios even more time to add additional content and extra features that the developer team would love to have at launch. PokeMMO is a fan-made MMORPG based on the 3rd generation of GameFreak’s popular Pokemon video game franchise. This is basically an emulator that lets you play the Pokemon games online, alongside other people. The emulater requires the Fire Red v1.0 USA ROM and has optional support for HeartGold, SoulSilver ROMS. Naturally, this project is still in early stages and the team behind it plans to add in more regions and custom content a little later down the road. Medal of Honor Warfighter promises to be the most authentic shooter on the market this year. Activision has released a trailer for the fourth – and final – DLC Map Pack of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
