Codemasters today released a new developer diary – and a new set of screenshots – for F1 2012, the next game in the award-winning series which will launch in the UK on September 21st for X360, PS3 and PC. The new developer diary details the team’s objectives to “break new boundaries” and “match real life” as it introduces a wide range of new features and improvements that star in the game. Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land is a turn-based strategy RPG inspired by the works of noted horror writer H.P. Lovecraft. The game was created by indie developer Red Wasp Design in cooperation with Chaosium, the publishers of the paper role-playing game, Call of Cthulhu. The game is set in the trenches of World War One. Square Enix has released a new update for the PC version of Sleeping Dogs. This new patch comes with improved CPU timing to reduce issues where the game plays too quickly, as well as various fixes to improve stability and minimize crashes during gameplay. In addition, the mouse controls have been tweaked and United Front Games has added some new options. For example, while driving the camera no longer immediately auto-centers when you stop moving the mouse, the high-speed camera shake while driving has been reduced and mouse sensitivity no longer differs when Wei is and isn’t carrying a gun. Metro: Last Light is one of our most anticipated games of 2013. Truth be told, we were a little bit disappointed with its E3 trailer as it was full of scripted events, similar to the ones of Call of Duty. 4A Games is aiming for a more cinematic feel to Metro 2033’s sequel, and we have faith in this team. And even if the gameplay of Metro: Last Light won’t be up to our standards, we know for a fact that its visuals will be something to behold.
