Hitman: Absolution won’t support Windows XP either

Bad news for those who are still stuck with Windows XP, as Nixxes Software has confirmed that Hitman: Absolution won’t support this particular OS. When asked about the minimum requirements of Hitman: Absolution (at EIDOS official forum), a member suggested that Windows XP would be supported as it was listed on Amazon’s product page. However, that’s not the case. A member from Nixxes then replied (the team porting the game, that was also responsible for the PC version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution) and said that the game – as Hitman: Sniper Challenge – won’t support Windows XP. Steam’s Registry Suggests That Sony’s Exclusive ‘Guacamelee!’ Is Coming To The PC

Our reader Dan Rutstein has spotted an interesting Steam entry, suggesting that Guacamelee! (a Sony exclusive indie game) will be coming to the PC. Set in a world inspired by Mexican culture, Guacamelee! features a down-on-his-luck agave farmer named Juan Aguacate, who sets out to save the world when El Presidente’s Daughter is kidnapped by an Evil Charro Skepeton. The story takes place in and around a small village in Mexico, and has the player travelling through “The World of the Living” and “The World of the Dead” on his quest to rescue the girl he loves. Although DrinkBox Studios, the company behind Guacamelee!, has not revealed anything yet, we can expect this side-scrolling Metroidvania style game to hit our beloved platform at a later date. Trials Evolution: Gold Edition Announced For The PC

Seems we got a lot of Ubisoft announcements this morning. Following its free-to-play title and Call of Juarez: Gunslinger announcements, the French company has revealed that Trials Evolution is coming back to the PC platform. Trials Evolution: Gold Edition will include everything from the Trials HD game, and will feature leaderboards, online multiplayer and user-made content. Trials Evolution Gold Edition is said to be optimized for the PC and is planned for a 2013 release. Enjoy its announcement trailer below! The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is Ubisoft Montreal’s first Free-To-Play Title

Ubisoft has announced a new free-to-play game that is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the studio behind Assassin’s Creed 3 and Far Cry 3, and below you can view its announcement trailer alongside its first screenshots. The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is a dungeon crawler in which players build their own castles (from a pool of available tiles), fill them with monsters, and let other players slaughter them and collect the loot. The kind of enemy units and bosses you can drop into your castle is determined by your level. It’s an interesting concept for a free-to-play game, that might actually work. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger Announced – Coming To Consoles And PC Next Year

As we have guessed, Ubisoft has announced the next installment in the Call of Juarez series. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is developed by Techland and is powered by the company’s in-house engine. Contrary to its previous part, Gunslinger will return to the old West theme. According to Ubisoft, Gunslinger is a real homage to the Wild West tales, and will tell the untold truth behind some of the greatest legends of the Old West. The game will feature a bullet-time effect, as well as a skill tree with which you can upgrade your gun skills. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is slated for release in early 2013 on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC, and you can view below its first screenshots and its debut trailer. Enjoy!
