Angry Birds Star Wars – Official Gameplay Trailer

Rovio has released the official gameplay trailer for Angry Birds Star Wars that shows all the major players and a host of environments that will be featured in it. And in all seriousness, it looks really cool. Personally, I’ve never been a fan of Angry Birds, but this overhauled version is packed with some clever ideas that intrigue me. So make sure to watch if even if you don’t like Rovio’s acclaimed franchise. Classic Space Trading PC Game ‘Elite’ Comes Back With A Punch; Elite: Dangerous on Kickstarter

Good news for all Elite fans, as David Braben’s Frontier Developments has launched a Kickstarter UK project Elite: Dangerous on PC. In this new Elite game, players will begin with a spacecraft and a small sum of Credits and they will be able to trade, pirate, bounty-hunt, explore, and salvage their way to wealth and fame, building on those key elements of the previous games, and with sumptuous graphics only now possible with the performance of today’s machines. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 PC – FOV Is Locked At 80, Ranked Matches Capped at 120fps [UPDATE]

Remember Treyarch’s promises about an unlocked FOV for Black Ops 2 and unlimited FPS? Well, it seems that won’t be the case as Treyarch’s PC Community Manager has just revealed that the max FOV will be 80 and there won’t be any option to further raise it. According to the CM, Treyarch experienced technical issues and that’s why they could not offer a higher FOV. Guess the move to the DX11 renderer was not as ideal as they were hoping to, right? It’s also ironic that Treyarch talks about technical limitations, as it’s proven that a FOV change can be easily achieved even by third-party, fan made tools. Meteor Entertainment announced the launch date for the second closed beta phase of free-to-play mech title, Hawken. Hawken is the upcoming first person mech shooter developed by Adhesive Games and if you missed piloting your mech in the closed beta event the weekend of October 26th, you will be delighted to hear that the second closed beta will run from Thursday November 8th to Tuesday November 13th. Weekly Top 10 PC Charts; UK PC Retail and Steam Digital Charts [October 28th – November 3rd]

The latest Top 10 PC charts have been revealed and as we can see, Football Manager 2013 is dominating Steam’s digital and UK’s retail PC charts. SEGA’s new soccer manager has just been released and – as it was expected – sells like hot cakes. What’s also interesting here is that Focus Home Interactive’s farming game, Farming Simulator 2013 is at the second place of the UK PC retail charts, surpassing titles like The Sims 3, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Guild Wars 2 and WoW: Mists of Pandaria. Need For Speed: Most Wanted has also entered the charts and is placed in the eight place, while Euro Truck Simulator 2 has lost 8 places and is now in the last place of this week’s charts. Metro: Last Light & Company of Heroes 2 delayed to March 2013, South Park: The Stick of Truth delayed to 2014

THQ has announced that Metro: Last Light, Company of Heroes 2 and South Park: The Stick of Truth will get delayed. According to the publisher, Metro: Last Light and COH2 are currently planned for a March 2013 release (both of them were meant to hit streets this January). South Park: The Stick of Truth, on the other hand, will get delayed a whole year, as it’s now scheduled for a 2014 release.
