There is no denying that Project CARS looks outstanding. However, a lot of our readers have been asking this simple question; why do the screenshots look better than the actual game and why all those fan-made trailers cannot come close to our featured screenshots? As we said and before, that was due to different FXAA settings from those who were capturing those shots. So, is there any trailer that shows off the game’s visuals in all their glory? Yes, there is actually one and you can find it below. Yeap, time to enjoy the crisp textures and amazing details of Project CARS, in motion. Enjoy the trailer, courtesy of YouTube’s member ‘ADRIANF1esp’. Continue reading New Project CARS Fan Trailer Showcases Next-Generation Visuals In Motion→
I’ll be honest here; one of my most favourite racing games is SCUD Race. And Daytona USA. And Indy 500. Hell, I love all those old SEGA arcade racing games. In fact, I was really pissed off when SEGA decided to skip SCUD Race and did not port it to Dreamcast. And even though we’ve got MAME to remind us how cool those Model 2/3 games actually were, it still isn’t the same with the real deal. So everyone, here comes The 90’s Arcade Racer, a racing game that is inspired by all those SEGA arcade racing games. Now this is really interesting. Reddit’s user ‘okitobi2’ shared an image of what supposedly a CryEngine 3 version of Minecraft could look like. Unfortunately for everyone, this picture does not seem like a mod or standalone project created with CryEngine 3’s SDK, but rather a real image that suggests how close a CryEngine 3-powered Minecraft game could look like. In other words, don’t expect it to look this good. And even though this might put off some people, another Redditor has shared a video from a game with a procedural world, powered by Crytek’s engine, that looks sweet as hell. This video shows indeed what a next-gen version of Minecraft could look like, even though we’d ask for textures of even higher quality. Enjoy! Continue reading This is what a next-generation version of Minecraft could look like→

Half Life 2 is still considered one of the best FPS games to date. Naturally, Valve’s FPS starts to show its age, and that’s why we recommend using mods such the mind-blowing Cinematic Mod. Despite the fact that this particular mod overhaul the game’s visuals (the texture work that has been done to it is among the best we’ve ever seen), a lot of gamers were put off by the alternative models of some characters. If you were one of them, you’ll be happy to here that a team of modders is working on a new graphical mod for Half Life 2 called Half-Life 2: Enhancement Mod.
