Grinding Gear Games announced today that the Open Beta for the free action role-playing game (RPG) Path of Exile is now live. Players may now experience Act 3 of the Path of Exile story, where they can explore abandoned docks, markets, temples and sewers in the ruined city of Sarn to uncover the dark truth of their exile. Dead Island: Riptide – First Gameplay Footage Revealed

Deep Silver has revealed the first gameplay footage of Dead Island: Riptide. Dead Island: Riptide is powered by Techland’s proprietary engine and is planned for an April 26th release on PC, X360 and PS3. According to Deep Silver’s creator producer, this is a pre-alpha footage and is said that it will not represent the final quality of the product, though we all know that it will look similar to that. Free-To-Play Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online Gets New Update And Triton Pack

Ubisoft announced today the release of the 0.10.0 update for its free-to-play PC shooter Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online. This latest game update brings a host of new content, including the Holdout game mode, the Balaklava Sub Pen map and the Clan Match feature, as well as several game service improvements and fixes. Double Fine’s The Cave Is Now Available

SEGA and Double Fine Productions announced today the digital release of the new adventure game, The Cave. The Cave is available now for download on the PlayStation Network, the Nintendo eShop on Wii U, Xbox LIVE Arcade for X360 and Steam (PC, Mac, Linux). Crysis 3 – Multiplayer Beta Announced – Launches On January 29th On All Platforms

Electronic Arts and Crytek today announced an open multiplayer beta for Crysis 3 that will be available starting January 29th for X360, PS3 and PC. Including two team-based modes and two maps, the extensive beta will give players an opportunity to master the superpowers of the Nanosuit. The Crysis 3 multiplayer beta will be available for two weeks and give players the chance to get a leg up on the competition before Crysis 3 launches on February 22 in Europe. Zachariah Scott has released an amazing Source Filmmaker Short movie that is inspired by Portal 2. As Scott describes, this video was shot on black void, using a rebuild version of glados’ chamber that I put together by hand. The video features music from Lars Erik Fjøsne, however we should also give our thumbs up to JP Neufeld for mixing Glados’ voice to Lars song. I’m pretty sure you all saw that coming. games.on.net revealed that Dead Space 3 PC will be a simple console port and nothing more. No DX11 support, no higher-resolution textures, no graphical enhancements, no specific PC tweaks or features. In fact, PC gamers should be thankful that this game will hit their platform as Visceral Games is obviously not focused on it. Ironically, the same thing can be said about High Moon Studios and its Transformers franchise, though Activision was smart enough and let another studio develop a wonderful PC port.
