This is how the next-generation version of ‘The Elder Scrolls’ should look like

Reddit’s user ‘only_eats_plankton’ shared a gorgeous image, that immediately reminded us of Skyrim. To put it simply – this is how the next ‘The Elder Scrolls’ game should look like. Bethesda should use this image as a reference, and we are pretty sure that next-gen systems will be able to come close to it. The biggest obstacles developers might have with it is with the in-game TOD, the whole lighting system, the extended LOD and the shadowing system. Apart from these nitpicks though, we can’t see why next-generation systems could not provide a similar IQ. Of course, we are not speaking about identical or better visuals. After all, nothing can top real-life. But given the rumored specs of next-gen platforms, we believe that we might be playing the next Elder Scrolls game with visuals like that. Well… hopefully. Anyway, enjoy the image after the jump! Continue reading This is how the next-generation version of ‘The Elder Scrolls’ should look like

In Prototype 2’s world, computers have some truly unique… keyboards

Our reader ‘Sid Spyker’ sent us an amazing video from Prototype 2. As we can see, in Prototype 2’s world there are some unique keyboards. Instead of the traditional keys, these keyboards have the buttons of a gamepad. This is clearly an easter egg, so don’t start criticizing Radical for including such a thing, although we have to admit that it’s a bit ironic how similar to this whole port this sequence actually is. In other news, we’ll slightly delay our Performance Analysis to Prototype 2 since there isn’t any official SLI profile – Nvidia stated that we might get some new beta drivers in the coming days, so stay tuned. Until then, enjoy the video! Continue reading In Prototype 2’s world, computers have some truly unique… keyboards
