Alien: Isolation – Low Versus Ultra Screenshots Comparison (4K)
SEGA was kind enough to provide us with a review code for Alien: Isolation, and below you can find a screenshot comparison between the game’s Low and Ultra settings. In order to provide a ‘apple-to-apple’ comparison, we kept the same AA, AF and resolution. As we can clearly see, there is a graphical difference between these settings, though it’s not as big as we’d hoped. We also noticed awkward SLI scaling behaviour with Ultra settings while we were running at 3840×2160 (in case you’re wondering then no; we were not VRAM limited). The Evil Within – Fight For Your Life Trailer
Bethesda has released a new trailer for its upcoming horror survival game, The Evil Within. The Evil Within releases on October 14th, and comes with some really harsh PC requirements (at least according to Bethesda). The game is powered by id Tech 5 and will be interesting to see whether it will support SLI, and whether it will demand huge amounts of VRAM for textures that – at least from what we’ve seen thus far – do not even come close to those of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.
