System Shock is now powered by Unreal Engine 4, gets new pre-alpha trailer

Nightdive Studios has released a new pre-alpha trailer, revealing that its upcoming remake of System Shock will be powered by Unreal Engine 4. This new trailer shows crisp visuals, so it’s unknown whether there will be an option to disable texture filtering and give the textures a retro look (as they were in its early demo). During GDC2017, AMD showcased a slide with the first official gaming benchmarks between its Ryzen 7 1700X CPU and Intel’s Core i7 6800K. While there is an embargo for these benchmarks (meaning that the websites that have signed an NDA cannot share it until tomorrow), this slide found its way to the Internet. Studio Wildcard has launched its ARK Sponsored Mods program, showcases the first sponsored mods

Studio Wildcard revealed today at the Game Developers Conference 2017 that it has launched the ARK Sponsored Mods program, which will provide both financial support and development advice to select modders of ARK: Survival Evolved. The program’s goal is to give a boost to the vibrant ARK modding community by selecting 15 projects each month to each receive $4,000 towards the modders’ ongoing development costs. Completed mods may also be considered for integration into the final retail release on PC and Consoles of ARK: Survival Evolved.
