This mod adds permadeath mechanics to Fallout 4

Modder ‘JJ2197’ has released a new version of his permadeath mod for Fallout 4. The “You Only Live Once” mod is inspired by the YOLO run-throughs of Many a True Nerd, this mod brings to Bethesda’s RPG permadeath mechanics, meaning that the modder has removed healing, curing addictions, rad removal and limb healing from all items. Closed beta phase for Sea of Thieves begins on January 29th

Microsoft and Rare have announced that the open beta phase for Sea of Thieves will begin on January 29th. Microsoft halts distribution of Spectre & Meltdown fixes on AMD systems after reports of unbootable PCs

It appears that Microsoft and AMD have messed things up. According to reports, a number PC systems with AMD’s processors were boot failing after installing the Spectre and Meltdown fixes. Microsoft investigated those reports and discovered that some AMD chipsets are getting into an unbootable state after applying those fixes. As a result of that, Microsoft has stopped distributing these fixes on AMD systems. Electronic Arts is using dynamic difficulty adjustments in multiple games, wants to get rid of fair matchmaking

Back in October 2017, it was revealed that Activision is working on a new matchmaking system that would pair players together in order to encourage microtransactions. And while this system has not been implemented in any game as of yet, another publisher is searching into getting rid of fair matchmaking in multiplayer games. That publisher is no other than EA who has already implemented its dynamic difficulty adjustment in multiple games. New version of Skyrim 3D Trees mod adds 35 new high quality replacer models for plants and trees

Last month, we informed you about the Skyrim 3D Trees mod for Bethesda’s RPG. Created by modder ‘mathy79’, Skyrim 3D Trees mod aims to feature the most realistic forests simulation in gaming. Since that December release, mathy79 has been working hard on it and has just released a new version of the mod, increasing the total number of high-quality replacer models to 64. Green Man Gaming has announced a new partnership deal with Ubisoft and introduced a new feature that allows customers to automatically redeem and add games to their Uplay library with one click. The new automatic game activation feature will give gamers a faster and more secure way to add Ubisoft games including upcoming titles Far Cry 5, Anno 1800 and Skull and Bones to their library on the Uplay platform. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – Latest beta patch reduces view distance while parachuting down, improves report tool

Bluehole has released a brand new beta patch for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. According to the release notes, this patch reduces the visible distance when parachuting down in order to test the optimization of server and client performance. Furthermore, it adds more objects around La Bendita on Miramar to increase the amount of cover. Back in 1993, Data East released a version of Shadowrun on Nintendo’s consoles, the Super Nintendo.
