In a series of tweets and Reddit posts, Tim Sweeney, the founder of Epic Games, has commented on the Epic Store exclusive games (that have so far caused a lot of controversy). According to Sweeney, Valve has every right to negotiate free or exclusive distribution deals with developers and believes that companies choosing to partner together openly and exchange money or other benefits isn’t bribery. Electronic Arts has announced that The Sims 4 will drop support for 32bit operating systems in June 2019. Now while the main branch will be only supporting 64bit systems in June 2019 and onwards, PC gamers that still game on 32bit systems will be able to download a legacy version for it. Supernova Capital LLP has acquired the creators of Shadow Warrior, Flying Wild Hog

Supernova Capital LLP has announced the acquisition of Flying Wild Hog. According to the press release, in 2017, Paul Wedgwood sold Splash Damage in a deal worth up to $160m to Hong Kong listed company Leyou. In 2018, after 17 years at the helm, Paul stepped down as CEO of Splash Damage and founded Supernova Capital LLP. Epic Games has revealed the roadmap for all the improvements, enhancements and additions that will be coming to its Digital Store in 2019. Bioware responds to Anthem’s loot drop controversy with latest update

A few days ago, we wrote that a subset of Anthem players were threatening to boycott the game should Bioware fail to address the unsatisfactory manner in which rare loot items were being dropped. In response, Bioware has since implemented an update for Anthem which increases the chances for players to receive ‘Masterwork’ and ‘Legendary’ loot items.
