Vampyr has sold 450K copies worldwide in its first month on all platforms

Focus Home Interactive has announced that Vampyr has sold 450K copies worldwide on all platforms in its first month. As the press release reads, after a week of marketing, the game has ranked first in sales in France, the United Kingdom, Germany and many other countries ahead of other big titles.

Vampyr’s development cost somewhere between 10-15 million euros. Back in November 2017, Focus Home Interactive claimed that the game would be profitable with 500K sold copies on all platforms, and with 1 million units it will be considered a success.

Oskar Guilbert, CEO of DONTNOD, said:

“We are very proud, because since its launch, our last original creation meets a great craze among players. Thanks to our new role as co-producer, we will greatly benefit from this commercial success.”

Last week, DONTNOD released the first patch for Vampyr that fixed various issues but did not address stuttering issues.
