Cinder Interactive has just announced that its upcoming fan remake of TimeSplitters, TimeSplitters Rewind, will be released on November 23rd. To celebrate this announcement, the team shared a new trailer that you can find below.
TimeSplitters Rewind is a fan-made project that acts like a “greatest hits” version of the original TimeSplitters trilogy. It includes maps, game modes, leagues, challenges, and story content from all three games. Instead of being three separate remakes, Rewind is one single game that captures the spirit of the whole series. It’s not just an HD collection—it’s its own unique title. The game will feature tons of content from all three games. However, the first release will focus on a smaller selection of classic content and some brand-new additions.
At launch, TimeSplitters Rewind will have 28 Maps, 50 Arcade Leagues, 32 Challenges, and 91 Characters. Players can also expect to get their hands on 41 Weapons and 20 Arcade Game Modes. Up to ten players will be able to play online. The game will have both an Online and Offline Story Mode. Plus, it will have a new Game Mode, called Team Elimination.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
