The King of Fighters XIV patch 3.10 now available for download, full release notes unveiled

SNK has released a new major update for The King of Fighters XIV. According to the release notes, this patch will update your game’s version to 3.10 and extends by 4 frames the command input buffer at reversal timing except during guard recovery, upgrades the life value for all characters, and re-balances pretty much all characters.

Those interested can find more details about the balance tweaks here. We’re talking about a PDF with 26 pages so be prepared for a huge list with tweaks and balance changes to all characters. Naturally, some players will not be pleased with them while other will find them interesting.

KOF XIV is the newest entry in the acclaimed The King of Fighters series of fighting games. Lead by veteran creator and FATAL FURY creator Yasuyuki Oda, KOF XIV takes the iconic gameplay that the series is known for while implementing new 3D visuals, a first for a mainline entry in the series.

Reports suggest that SNK is currently working on The King of Fighters XV so it will be interesting to see whether this new rumoured KOF game will be 3D or 2D, whether it will come to the PC and whether it will support cross-platform play.
