Great news for all horror/survival fans as Bethesda has just announced that The Evil Within will hit digital and retail shelves on August 26th. The Evil Within is a survival horror game developed at Tango Gameworks under the direction of renowned game designer and studio head, Shinji Mikami.
The Evil Within aims to embody the meaning of pure survival horror. Players will experience a disturbing reality as they try to break free from warped machinations that could only exist in the most horrifying worlds.
The game is powered by id Tech 5, so it will be interesting to see whether Tango Gameworks has been able to take advantage of John Carmack’s engine or not.
