DotEmu, developer and publisher specializing in modern releases of beloved retro games, announce that Raiden Legacy is now available on PC and MAC OSX. Released a few months ago on iOS & Android, this compilation includes four titles from the mega-popular Raiden arcade series: Raiden, Raiden Fighters, Raiden Fighters 2 and Raiden Fighters Jet.
Originally developed by Seibu Kaihatsu, these classics have been enhanced with brand-new features, specially adapted for computers:
• 1 or 2 simultaneous players (PC/MAC exclusive feature)
• Remastered HD soundtrack for Raiden Fighters 1 & 2 and Raiden Fighter Jet (PC/MAC exclusive feature)
• Full gamepad support (PC/MAC exclusive feature)
• New game modes : Arcade (original), Mission and Training
• Playable on portrait orientation monitors + landscape ones
• Game Center support (OSX version only): 15 unlockable achievements + online leaderboards.
Obviously, all Raiden titles can be played via MAME, but then again this can be said about most old-school arcade titles that are being re-released on the PC.
