Obsidian teases new information about its Project X game; might be revealed this Friday

Obsidian Entertainment has updated its teaser site with some new, interesting information about its secret Project X game. First things first – it seems that the encircled number was not referring to a game. Number 4 is now replaced with number 3, suggesting that this is actually a counter and that the game will be revealed this Friday.
The new message from Obsidian reads:
“The book unread is unwritten. The reason we don’t explain it is the reason we use it. Its power is in its mystery. That is the Leaden Key, in part, in whole. Is it clear?”
The company has also included a hidden message that reads:
“Two centuries ago, your divine champion told the people of Dyrwood to grovel at his feet. If you’ve come on pilgrimage to the blasted crater that was our reply, Godhammer Citadel is *that* way.”
Rumor has it that Josh Sawyer might be involved in this project.
So, let the speculation begin. Can you decrypt the hidden messages?
