NVIDIA has just released a new Hotfix driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the NVIDIA GeForce Hotfix 576.66 driver addresses some issues that plagued the latest triple-A games. So, let’s take a closer look at it.
The NVIDIA GeForce Hotfix 576.66 driver fixes crashes that could occur in both Dune: Awakening and F1 25. So, if you are currently playing these two games, you should use this driver.
This new hotfix driver fixes a few problems. First, it stops shadows from flickering in Dragon’s Dogma 2 when using an RTX 50-series graphics card. It also fixes crashes that could happen in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Plus, it solves a bug that caused quick red or green flashes during video playback in web browsers when using RTX 50-series GPUs. These fixes will help make games and videos run more smoothly and look better.
As the green team noted, this driver is based on the latest Game Ready Driver 576.52. This means that it contains all of its tweaks, fixes, and improvements. So, if you still haven’t upgraded your driver, you can skip the 576.52 driver and go straight to this latest hotfix.
As I’ve said before, if you don’t play the games mentioned above, you don’t really need to download this new driver update. It’s not a must-have for everyone. So, if your games are running fine and you haven’t noticed any issues, it’s totally okay to skip this driver update for now. There’s no need to change anything if everything is working smoothly on your PC.
You can go ahead and download this new driver from this link. Below, you can also find its complete changelog. So, go ahead and take a look at it.
