Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is receiving a remaster for PC

Bandai Namco is working on a Nintendo Switch version of Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, as well as a remastered version for both the PC and the Playstation 4. Due to the success of the sequel on Steam, Bandai Namco have decided to invest in a PC port for one of Studio Ghibli’s greatest forays into gaming.

The Studio Ghibli/Level 5 collaborative masterpiece will be receiving a full resolution upgrade for both the PC and PS4, and the 30fps cap will be removed. This should come as particularly good news to fans of No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom,  since the only way to play the first game on PC was via the RPCS3 emulator.

While the emulator has been making astounding progress lately, it is nonetheless gratifying to see Bandai Namco be so open-handed when it comes to porting some of their best JRPG’s to Steam. So THIS explains why Ni No Kuni II is on sale at the moment!

The Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC can expect to see Ni No Kuni arrive at their doorstep on September 20th of this year!
