Tekken fans, here is some new gameplay footage and more details about the gameplay of the upcoming Tekken tag game, Tekken Tag Tournament 2. The following videos are brand new footages from Evo2K11, so get ready as you will witness for the first time both Tag Crashes and Tag Assaults.
According to the developers, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will feature two new features; Tag Crash and Tag Assault. Tag Assaults (aka Tag combos) can now be done simultaneously with both characters participating in the combo at the same time. Tag Crashes on the other hand are offensive ways to switch your players. With a Tag Crash, the ‘second’ character attacks from mid-air when is being switched.
Rage meter is now dynamic and is not activated when the character’s energy is low. Tekken 6’s “Bound” hits will also be featured in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, as well as walled arenas and combined tag throws which, if timed properly, can be escaped from.
