Epic Games has released a new official map for Unreal Tournament. This map is called “Underland” and is a Deathmatch level designed for 6 to 8 people. In Underland, players fight across a hidden outpost, once lost for a thousand years, that guards the entrance to the massive Underland caverns. Enjoy!

To anyone unable to download the launcher due to connection problems, try opening Epic Games Launcher shortcut.
If you use Windows 10, the default location is in “C:ProgramDataMicrosoftWindowsStart MenuPrograms”.
Right click on it and in Target Path field, please add ” -http=wininet”.
my launcher didnt work for the longest time but this made it work, they need to seriuously fix that crap but at least this will hopefully get you online and able to play. cheers!
I did that already, launched once, started download, crashed and now I’m stuck with the “Please Wait” all over again.
Weird, I’ve never had any problems with their launcher.
Maybe it’s something about opening it as an administrator?
Nah, that’s standard procedure, didn’t work aswell.
Epic doesn’t like me 🙁
Their maps have such good textures. Makes me moist.
As much as environments are unreal in a good way there, animations of characters are unreal in a bad way.
The animations are great. There’s no “realistic” way to make characters run and jump that fast.
For me animations somehow negatively stand out. They remind me of old
games in which developers didn’t have motion capture and had to manually
set keyframes.
Oh, I didn’t think of the first person animations. Yeah, those are pretty bad, all of them tbh. I was just thinking of characters running and jumping around. I don’t think any fast, vertical game has done that better.
instead of a multiplayer the new doom should have a link to unreal tournament download page.
Doom SP and UT MP is a great combo.
ut99 is not cartoony?
More colors doesn’t mean “cartoony”.
“too vibrant.”
I dont think there is such a thing.
I think he means it’s oversaturated or something.
Still doesn’t make it automatically cartoony.
I agree. I just said that by “too vibrant”, Prashanna Shanmuga Sundaram meant “oversaturated”.
Disqus should have more levels of comments, because it sometimes seems confusing now if the last, 4th one is reached. Did you think I replied to you? 🙂
I didn’t, I replied to durka durka.
Oh, I saw that, I’m just taking the p!ss.
:))
Okay 😛
lmfao he prefers more doom. must be a console peasant.
“By definition”, cartoons have an outline, something that Unreal Tournament characters don’t have
🙂
That latst screen with skaarj reminds me unreal 1 vibes:). I hope someday epic will remake unreal 1, that would be so great 🙂
Considering how they said they are basically done with SP games, I doubt it.

That was when paragon was f2p
More great work from Epic Games!
Can’t wait to employ my ‘I get shot and killed making me the victor!’ strategy on you fools!
Put it in steam already, I am sure there will be a massive increase in the player base.
Still looks good, still runs terribly though. Even with lowest settings the properly meshed out maps run unplayably bad on my computer. They won’t gain an audience until performance is fixed and you can play all maps at 100 fps on a somewhat recent computer.
