Multiplayer tactical space-based shooter, Boundary, releases in Summer 2021

Publisher Skystone Games has announced that Surgical Scalpels’ upcoming multiplayer tactical space-based shooter, Boundary, will release in Summer 2021. The game was targeting a 2020 release date. However, and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been delayed to Summer 2021.

Boundary will put players in the role of a heavily armed astronauts in space engaging in fierce zero gravity firefights. The game will feature fully customizable loadouts, weapons and ammo types. Furthermore, there will be 6 classes of Astronaut for players to choose from in multiple game modes.

The modes that will be available at launch are: Free For All, Team Deathmatch, Facility Capture, and Orbital Purge modes. In case you’re wondering, Facility Capture and Orbital Purge will be based around Domination and Elimination gameplay.

As we’ve already reported, Boundary will feature real-time Ray Tracing effects on the PC. However, it appears that those effects may be too expensive if the game’s official benchmark tool is anything to go by.

Lastly, here are also its official PC system requirements.
