Rogue Factor has revealed the PC system requirements for third-person action-adventure game, Hell is Us. And, from the looks of it, this will be a really heavy game, especially on Ultra Settings. So, let’s take a closer look at the PC specs.
For those unaware, Hell is Us is a third-person action-adventure game and according to its devs, it won’t be “another Souls game“. Instead, it’s a game where combat is designed to offer a well-seasoned difficulty level without being overly punitive. Players will have to learn to master a range of different moves and adapt to enemy attacks. They will be able to rely on a variety of weapons and skills, as well as the help of KAPI. KAPI is a drone that will prove indispensable during fights. For example, it can distract opponents or enable special attacks.
Hell is Us doesn’t feature markers or quest journals detailing exactly what to do. However, the devs claim that there’s no shortage of points of interest and secrets to uncover. Players will have to use their curiosity and instincts to discover places steeped in history that will lead them to explore ancient, forgotten dungeons.
To run the game, PC gamers will at least need an Intel i7-7700K or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 or AMD RX 5600 XT. With this PC setup, you will be able to run it at 1080p/30FPS with Medium Settings. That’s also with DLSS/FSR. At the bottom of the PC specs, you can see the “Always Used Upscaling” label.
The devs recommend using an Intel i7-11700K or AMD Ryzen 5 7600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 2080Ti or AMD RX 6750 XT. With such a PC system, you will be able to run it at 1080p/High Settings with 60FPS.
For gaming at 1440p/60FPS with Very High Settings, you will need an Intel i7-11700K or AMD Ryzen 5 7600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 3090 or an AMD RX 6900 XTX. As for 4K/Ultra Settings, you will need an NVIDIA RTX 4090 or AMD RX 7900 XTX. Here is the catch, though. The devs claim that the 4K PC Specs are for gaming with 30FPS.
Hell is Us will be powered by Unreal Engine 5. And, we know that the NVIDIA RTX 4090 runs SIGNIFICANTLY faster than the AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX in all UE5 games. So, I don’t know why the devs have paired the RTX 4090 with the RX 7900XTX. It would make more sense to use the NVIDIA RTX 5080, and not the RTX 4090.
The good news is that NACON will release a PC demo for Hell is Us on June 2nd. So, we’ll know soon enough whether these 4K PC specs are accurate.
