Halo: Combat Evolved PC – New Fan-Made Campaign ‘Project Lumoria’ Released

More goodies for our Halo fans, as TM Mapping Team  has released Project Lumoria, a fan-made/custom campaign for Halo: Combat Evolved PC. In Project Lumoria, players will embark on a journey that brings you to the Forerunner world of Lumoria. When a scientific research crew sends out a beacon of distress, the UNSC frigate “The Endless Horizon”, a frigate class ship, is sent in to execute a low-profile search and rescue operation.
This project has been in development for two and a half years and can be downloaded from here.
From our part, we want to congratulate the team for releasing such a mod. We’ve seen countless of promising mods getting canned for no apparent reason, so it’s really cool to see some mods completed. On the other hand, it’s also sad that it took them 2 years to complete it, as we’re pretty sure that most gamers have already uninstalled this game from their hard-disks.
And that’s the biggest issue for a lot of promising mods/total conversions in our opinion. By the time they are completed, a lot of gamers have already moved on to other games and cannot be bothered with them – something that has a huge impact on those mods’ publicity. And that’s really sad because some total conversions are actually fun and quite enjoyable.
So, make sure to check this mod out if you are a die-hard Halo fan!
