YouTube’s ‘Unreal Gaming’ has shared a video showcasing the PS4-exclusive The Order: 1886 running on PC with the shadPS4 emulator.
The Order: 1886 is a game I’ve always wanted to see on PC. The good news is that it is playable on a special fork of shadPS4. The bad news is that it suffers from shader compilation stutters.
Unreal Gaming used an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 to run the game. During the intro, the game runs at very high frame rates. At times, it can go above 200 FPS at 1080p.
However, the frame rate drops to 60-84 FPS near the end, when we get a look at the city. The CPU and GPU are both far from full use, so there is clearly a bottleneck somewhere. We can also see some visual glitches and artifacts.
Despite all these issues, this is the first time I’ve seen The Order: 1886 running on PC via shadPS4. So, let’s hope that the shadPS4 devs will do their best to improve its emulation.
Right now, shadPS4 can run another PS4-exclusive game, Bloodborne, incredibly well. It’s ironic, but right now, PC gamers can get the best gaming experience with shadPS4.

Speaking of Bloodborne, here are two other cool mods for it. The first one is Bloodborne Magnus Opus. Bloodborne Magnus Opus is a project that aims to restore content that was cut from the game. The second is a first-person mod. By using it, you can play Bloodborne in first-person mode. This is a cool way to replay the game if you have already finished it. Another cool mod is HardBorne. HardBorne aims to make Bloodborne significantly more challenging. This is for those who have already mastered the vanilla version.
