AMD has released a new major driver for its graphics cards, the AMD Radeon Adrenalin 2019 Edition 18.12.2 driver. According to the release notes, this driver improves performance in Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Doom, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Strange Brigade.
Going into more details, the AMD Radeon Adrenalin 2019 Edition 18.12.2 improves performance by up to 4% in Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey on the Radeon RX Vega 64 graphics card, by up to 3% in Shadow of the Tomb Raider on the Radeon RX Vega 64, by up to 5% in both Doom and Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus on the Radeon RX Vega 64 and by up to 7% in Strange Brigade on the very same GPU.
This driver also improves and adds new features such as AMD Link, Radeon Overlay, Radeon Game Advisor, Radeon FreeSync 2, Radeon Chill and Radeon WattMan.
