IGN reported today that 2D co-op-multiplayer dimension-swapping Metroid-vania beat-em-up platformer, Guacamelee!, will be coming to the PC platform next month. Set in a world inspired by Mexican culture, Guacamelee! features a down-on-his-luck agave farmer named Juan Aguacate, who sets out to save the world when El Presidente’s Daughter is kidnapped by an Evil Charro Skeleton.
The PC version of Guacamelee! will be packed with some additional content (as we’ll be getting the Gold Edition). Guacamelee! Gold Edition will feature two DLC packs – the Costume Pack and The Devil’s Playground – as well as full Steam functionality, Steam Trading Cards, Achievements, leaderboards, cloud saving, and more.
Guacamelee! Gold Edition will be priced at $14.99 and will hit Steam on August 8th.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
