Modder ‘Glitchfinder’ has released a new cool mod for Fallout 4. This mod adds consequences for clearing the game’s dungeons. As such, it can make Fallout 4’s world feel more real and retroactive than before. So, let’s take a closer look at it.
In the vanilla game, there wasn’t any consequence for clearing a dungeon. Nothing happens if you go to a raider base and clear it out. Despite lore to the contrary, the Gunners never do anything when you take out one of their units.
That’s what this mod tries to fix. Now, when you attack a dungeon, there is a chance for reinforcements to arrive from elsewhere. If you clear a dungeon, the faction that owned it may send a hit squad after you in retaliation. Moreover, their leaders will carry a note that tells you why they were sent after you.
Overall, this is a simple that cool mod that can make the game’s world feel more alive. Since it’s lore-friendly, I highly recommend trying it. You can go ahead and download it from this link.
If you are into Fallout 4, you might also want to check out these other mods for it. For instance, there is a LOD mod that reduces distant object/shadow/texture pop-ins. Then we have the Disk Cache Enabler Mod. There’s also a mod that adds ragdoll physics and collisions to dead bodies. Another amazing mod is this one that fixes the game’s long loading times. DirectHit is a mod that overhauls the AI of enemies. And let’s not forget this mod that adds real locational damage to all enemies. We also have this mod that adds to the game 10 driveable cars/vehicles with Havok physics, as well as this Enhanced Movement Mod. Modders have even brought Fallout: New Vegas’ skill system to it.
To improve the graphics or performance, you can use the following mods. For instance, there are various HD texture packs. You can either download this 8K Texture Pack or this 41GB 4K Texture Pack, which optimizes all 40,962 textures. There’s also a mod that improves the faces of over 1450 NPCs. Finally, there is a mod that adds support for NVIDIA DLSS 2, AMD FSR 2, and Intel XeSS. Oh, and there’s a mod that adds AMD FSR 3.0 Frame Generation to the game.
Fallout New Vegas Remake in Fallout 4 is an unreleased mod that we’re really looking forward to. Then we have Fallout: Miami. America Rising 2 is another fan DLC/expansion mod that integrates the Enclave faction into the main story with 24 main quests. Hunter’s Abyss and Caves Of The Commonwealth are two other fan expansion mods. Let’s also not forget Fallout London, which looks promising. You can also download Sim Settlements 2 – Chapter 3, Whispering Hills, which is a cool Silent Hill mod, and The Wilderness Mod. Plus, there is a horror quest mod that is inspired by Lovecraft, Resident Evil, and Dead Space. A few months ago, we also shared a brand new dark quest mod, called Project A.R.E.S. Let’s also not forget Atom’s Retribution, which offers 24+ hours of gameplay and 40+ new quests. Oh, and the Mass Effect Evolution Mod is once again available for download.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

uh… dungeon?
The buildings that have a loading screen when you enter then can be considered as stand alone dungeons. They also get a "cleared" icon on the map when they are cleared, while the open-world repopulates.

Generally, map locations can get "cleared" when you kill all the enemies at the location, it's not something specific to dungeons. I got most of the map locations to cleared status on my most thorough playthrough. Both indoor and outdoor locations repopulate, indoor just takes longer.
The author was obviously referring to faction bases but incorrectly uses the term dungeons. I can't fully blame the author though, except that they're writing about something they don't know, because the modder uses the two different terms as if they're the same thing, which they are not.
Yeah, more like "base".
In RPGs they are still called dungeons. Sorry you are tiny brained
The Caesar has marked you for death, and The Legion obeys. Ready yourself for battle!
Not really my kind of mod. Just adds to the headache of playing the game as is. I don't need mercs coming around to my settlements because they got mad about me wiping the floor with their people.
