Dragon's Dogma 2 Lock-On Camera System

New Dragon’s Dogma 2 Mod adds teleport waypoints to all key locations

One of my biggest issues with Dragon’s Dogma 2 was its awful fast-travel/teleport system. And no, I don’t mind the limited amount of Ferrystones you have. What I mean is that it made no sense to not have teleport waypoints in all the big cities and villages. Why do I have to use a Portcrystal to create one inside a town? It makes no sense. And, thankfully, there is a mod that finally fixes this.

Created by modder ‘rthomasv3’, this mod adds teleport waypoints in all key locations. As such, you will be able to instantly teleport your party to them. And no, you will no longer need Ferrystones or Portcrystals to teleport.

As said, I wouldn’t mind if the mod still required Ferrystones. I don’t have an issue with this. My main issue is that when you discover MOST of the cities, there aren’t any teleportation waypoints. I mean, why are there by default portals only in Vernworth and Harve Village? It makes no sense at all. And no, I don’t buy Capcom’s “Fast travel is needed only if your exploration is boring” crap. Because exploration in Dragon’s Dogma 2 IS boring. Not only that, but the game will constantly send you to one area and then to another, like most other RPGs. So, the lack of a traditional fast-travel system makes the game tedious.

Anyway, you can go ahead and download the mod from this link.

Speaking of Dragon’s Dogma 2, we also recommend checking out these mods for it. For instance, you can get a mod that improves its mouse camera movement. Another mod adds a cool lock-on combat mechanic. Then we have the Save Manager Mod which is a must-have mod. This mod allows you to start a new game, create multiple characters, and have an unlimited number of save files for each character. Let’s also not forget this mod that improves the quality of Ray Tracing, and reduces its smearing side effects. Oh, and you can download a free DLSS 3 Mod. This is a must for all RTX40 series owners as it can improve the game’s framepacing and overall performance. Finally, you can get some 4K Texture Packs from here and here.

Have fun!
