Total War fans, this is for you. Gamespot has unveiled today the first gameplay walkthrough of Creative Assmebly’s upcoming Total War: Rome 2 game. This walkthrough is from the Siege of Carthage mission that will be featured in it, and showcases the amazing visuals that will be present on this new strategy game. Everything looks top-notch, from the units to the environmental effects. The only downside here is that Rome 2 is a bit far away, as it is planned for a 2013 release. Enjoy! Humans Must Answer – IGF Trailer – New SHMUP from ex-Stalker developers

SumomGames has released a new trailer for its upcoming PC shmup, Humans Must Answer. Although this little gem needs a lot of work and polish in order to reach the level of other triple-a shumps, its arsenal looks quite unique and remarkable. The game promises to feature a shop with a large number of upgrades for the ship, weapons combination and the drone towers, easy and addictive scoring system, satirical view of familiar things, cool explosions and spectacular destruction system, as well as dynamic music, reacting to the gameplay. Project CARS – First Footage Of Wet Weather Effects Unveiled

YouTube’s member ‘Stephen Lyon’ has captured the first footage of Project CARS’ wet weather effects. Now before watching this video, let us remind you that pCars is in alpha stage and those effects are brand new. This obviously means that there are some issues and are not optimized or polished. There aren’t any visible rain drops on screen and the rain splashes from the cars are bugged (those particles should be coming from all cars and not from just a few of them). Battlefield 3 – Aftermath DLC Premiere Trailer & Details Unveiled

Electronic Arts and DICE have released the premiere trailer for Battlefield 3’s Aftermath DLC. According to the developers, this trailer provides a premiere look at the fourth multiplayer expansion pack Battlefield 3: Aftermath, where DICE throws players into an all-new harrowing environment: The shattered districts, streets and cities of post-earthquake Iran. Players will struggle for supremacy and survival amongst the devastation, with heavily modified vehicles and the all-new crossbow at their disposal. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 – Launch Trailer Comes Four Weeks Before Release

Okay everyone, I’m a little puzzled here. Launch trailers usually come out one or two days before a game’s release. So imagine my surprise when I saw the launch trailer of Black Ops 2, the next installment of the Call of Duty series that is being developed by Treyarch and is planned for a November 13th release. Assassin’s Creed III – Official Multiplayer Trailer

Ubisoft has also released today the official multiplayer trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3. Assassin’s Creed 3’s MP will feature a variety of modes ranging from classic Deathmatch to co-op and team-based modes like Wolfpack and Domination. Assassin’s Creed 3’s MP promises to be the most compelling online experience yet. The game is planned for a November 23rd release on the PC. Enjoy! Overgrowth Alpha 193 Changes

It’s been a while since our last look on Wolfire’s indie bunny title, Overgrowth. And even though the team has been polishing it, the game is still in alpha phase. Nevertheless, Overgrowth looks like one of the best indie attempts we’ve ever seen and Wolfire has released a new video, in which David Rosen showcases the changes that have been made to its latest alpha build.
