CI Games has released the launch trailer for its upcoming sci-fi FPS title, Alien Rage. In Alien Rage players will encounter a powerful thru-the gun experience as they blast their way through Alien forces hell-bent on taking them down. Battling through 14 intense levels, players will encounter an onslaught of enemies and eight heavy-weight bosses that will test players FPS skills. YouTube’s member ‘TombStoneHD’ has leaked a new video for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, showcasing some multiplayer action from what seems to be a beta build of Ubisoft’s upcoming title. Do note that this video does not make justice to the game’s MP mode, however it will give an idea of what this mode will actually be. In short, it feels similar to the one featured in AC3, so good news for those that liked it and bad news if you found it underwhelming. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is currently planned for release later this year on the PC, though we do not have any specific ETA. Enjoy!
A couple of hours ago, Konami showcased a second gameplay demo for its upcoming tactical espionage action title, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Contrary to all previous demonstrations, this one takes place in daylight. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is currently planned for release on current and next generation consoles, though there is a high chance we see it on our platform too. Enjoy!
Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag that focuses on the game’s multiplayer mode. Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag tells the story of Edward Kenway, a young British man with a thirst for danger and adventure, who falls from privateering for the Royal Navy into piracy as the war between the major Empires comes to an end. Cristian Fabian Munoz Isla has released a new video from his upcoming Doom mod that aims to bring NetherRealm’s classic MK games on id Software’s FPS. This new video shows off UMK3 that was recently added to this mod. According to Cristian, the global version of this mod will include Mortal Kombat 1, Mortal Kombat 2 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. From what we’ve seen so far, MK1 feels great, whereas MK2 and UMK3 have some latency and hit detection issues. We don’t know if Cristian can fix them, but they do sometimes break the overall experience. Still, MK1 looks good so that’s a good thing at least. Enjoy! Devolver Digital has released a new trailer for Shadow Warrior. Shadow Warrior is a reimagining of the classic 3D Realms’ shooter from independent developer Flying Wild Hog (Hard Reset) starring the legendary and quick-witted warrior Lo Wang. Players will be able to combine the brute force of overwhelming firepower with the elegant precision of a katana to annihilate the merciless armies of the shadow realm in an exhilarating and visually stunning transformation of the classic first-person shooter. A couple of hours ago, Kojima and Konami demoed Metal Gear Solid V at Sony’s TGS 2013 booth. This demo is from the prologue of MGS V (titled MGS V: Ground Zeroes) and shows off the game’s gameplay mechanics. Although Konami has not officially announced a PC version for MGS V, it has been hinted (from job listings to PC SKU up and running already) that the game will be coming on our platform. Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 releases today in Europe, therefore we are presenting you a full match between Manchester United and Manchester City. PES 2014 is powered by FOX Engine, however the game’s visuals are a bit underwhelming. Sure thing, they are better than last year’s offer but they are not what we’d expect from FOX Engine. Then again, this is a current-gen title so we shouldn’t be asking for mind-blowing visuals. Still, Konami could do something about the game’s square-ish shadows, don’t you agree?
