Joint Pain Is An Indie Action/Strategy Platformer, Teaser Trailer Released
Raffaele Mele, an independent game designer at Hybris Studios, has informed us about a new action/strategy platformer. Titled ‘Joint Pain’, this indie attempt puts players against waves of crazy skeletons. The player needs to use the environment to their advantage at all times. Equipped with a sword and a shield, the player can shield bash and slash to keep their enemies at bay. Raffaele has released a teaser trailer for it that can be viewed below. Netstorm 2: Storms of Nimbus – Official Trailer Released, Pre-Alpha Build Available
A couple of months ago, we informed you about Risingstorm; a fan-made remake/sequel to Activision’s RTS title, Netstorm: Islands at War. Well, the game has changed title and is now called Netstorm 2: Storms of Nimbus. Not only that, but Nathan J Hunt has shared with us the official trailer of the game. Our reader ‘Jonathan Gustafsson’ shared with us two new videos, showcasing some mods for Avalanche’s open-world title, Just Cause 2. The first video showcases most of the mods that Jonathan used. Brutal Doom – V19 Will Feature A New Combo System
Modder ‘SGtMarkIV’ has released a new video for Brutal Doom, showcasing a new combo system that will be featured in it. As the modder describes, in V19 there will be a simple combo system similar to the system used by the Fighter on Brutal HeXen; pressing the fire, alt fire, and kick buttons in a sequence will unleash powerful combo attacks. Half Life 2 Done Quickly – Finished Under One & A Half Hour – New World Record
You know what? I really miss the Speedrun marathon. Seriously, I do love speedruns and that marathon was sooooooo good. Ah, let’s hope that next year we’ll get another one. Until then though, the SourceRuns team has managed to beat Half Life 2’s speedrun world record, and finished it in under one and a half hour. Resident Evil 1.5 – Developer Commentary Part Three
YouTube’s ‘MrBZork’ has posted the third developer commentary for the fan-made remake of Resident Evil 1.5. Resident Evil 1.5 is being made by a team of hackers who obtained an incomplete build of the legendary scrapped version of Resident Evil 2, and are working to finish it. A couple of months ago, the team released an early version of it. There is no ETA yet about a more polished version, but it’s good to see the team still working on it.
