Alien Rage comes to XBLA, PSN and PC this Autumn, Cinematic Trailer released

CI Games has announced that Alien Rage, a new sci-fi first-person-shooter that feels like a blend between Unreal 2 and Bulletstorm, will invade Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC worldwide Autumn 2013. A new cinematic trailer has also been released today which sets up the ominous backstory and the hunt for the ultimate power source: promethium. Capable of powering an entire planet or completely destroying it, it’s up to players to prevent the universe’s prize of promethium from falling into the wrong hands and taking down everything that comes in their way. Joint Pain Is An Indie Action/Strategy Platformer, Teaser Trailer Released

Raffaele Mele, an independent game designer at Hybris Studios, has informed us about a new action/strategy platformer. Titled ‘Joint Pain’, this indie attempt puts players against waves of crazy skeletons. The player needs to use the environment to their advantage at all times. Equipped with a sword and a shield, the player can shield bash and slash to keep their enemies at bay. Raffaele has released a teaser trailer for it that can be viewed below. Modder ‘SGtMarkIV’ has released a new video for Brutal Doom, showcasing a new combo system that will be featured in it. As the modder describes, in V19 there will be a simple combo system similar to the system used by the Fighter on Brutal HeXen; pressing the fire, alt fire, and kick buttons in a sequence will unleash powerful combo attacks. YouTube’s ‘MrBZork’ has posted the third developer commentary for the fan-made remake of Resident Evil 1.5. Resident Evil 1.5 is being made by a team of hackers who obtained an incomplete build of the legendary scrapped version of Resident Evil 2, and are working to finish it. A couple of months ago, the team released an early version of it. There is no ETA yet about a more polished version, but it’s good to see the team still working on it. Ah, the wonders of game mods. Our reader ‘Jonathan Gustafsson’ has informed us about this mod that brings the Leonardo da Vinci’s helicopter to Rockstar’s title. This mod has been created by Sleepy/ToNeBeE2o13 and can be downloaded from here (at least when it’s approved). Even though this is nothing extraordinary or as good as the Hulk mod, it does show that almost anything can be brought to GTA IV. Enjoy!
