Capcom has released some brand new screenshots, as well as a new Captivate 2012 trailer, for Resident Evil 6. According to its new press release, Resident Evil 6 will be launched in October 2nd on consoles and at a later date on the PC. Let’s hope that it will come to our platform before the end of 2012. Resident Evil 6 features three distinct, yet interwoven story threads, each with their own pair of protagonists for either solo or co-op play, both offline and online. Back in March, we informed you about an April announcement from Crytek about one of their future projects. This game would be a multiplatform title and there are already rumors about a possible new Timesplitters or Crysis game. Lost Planet fans, get ready for the third part of this action-oriented series. Some information got leaked and it appears that Spark Unlimited will be behind the wheel of Lost Planet 3. Not only that, but a trailer for the game was leaked to, hinting to a 2013 release on X360 and PS3. Typically, the PC version was not listed but given the fact that Capcom has released both Lost Planet 1 and 2 on our platform, we can safely assume that it will come to it at a later date. UK’s Retail and Steam’s Digital Top 10 PC Charts have been revealed and as we can, both The Sims 3: Showtime and Skyrim have reclaimed their thrones. In the retail land, EA’s sims game has managed to top Mass Effect 3 – that is now at the third place – and is followed by SEGA’s soccer manager, Football Manager 2012. Skyrim has gained one place this week, whereas both Star Wars: The Old Republic and Total War: SHOGUN 2 – Fall of the Samurai have lost two places each. And good news for Activision as Modern Warfare 3 has managed to re-enter the charts and is at the tenth place.
