Disney has released a new set of screenshots for Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. As the press release reads, the “Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two” video game returns Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit to Wasteland, an alternate world filled with more than 80 years of forgotten Disney characters and theme park attractions. Electronic Arts and Crytek have released a new SP trailer for Crysis 3. In all seriousness, Crysis 3 looks astounding and beyond anything we’ve ever seen (at least in terms of visuals for vanilla PC games). Destructible objects? Check. Bendable vegetation? Check. Wind effects? Check. Anamorphic lens-flares that can easily blind you? Check. To put it simple; C3 looks gorgeous, even if its alpha stage (as Crytek suggests that this footage is from its alpha build). Crysis 3 is planned for a February 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3. Good news for Windows 7 users, as it seems that Microsoft has – somewhat – backed off and will add various DX11.1 features to your beloved OS. According to a post on the ‘Games for Windows and the DirectX SDK’ blog, Microsoft brings – via the Platform Update for Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB 2670838) that is included with the Internet Explorer 10 Release Preview for Windows 7 – some DX11.1 features. Wild Games Studio has released a short teaser for its upcoming survival Unreal Engine 3-powered game, Day One: Garry’s Incident. Day One: Garry’s Incident is survival type of FPS where reflexes and reflection are useful. Players will have to survive in the jungle without pity, find food, build your own weapons and discover an ancient lost civilization with mysterious technology left behind many centuries ago by aliens. Rockstar has released the second trailer of GTA V. Contrary to the first trailer, this one focuses on the main story and the three protagonists that will be present. Graphics wise, there is a lot of aliasing and the colors are not as rich as the ones found on the official screenshots. Still, the game looks fine – for today’s standards – and there are some interesting hints about the things that will be featured in it.
