Call of Duty Black Ops 4 battle royale mode, Blackout, now supports 88 players

The open beta phase for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s battle royale mode, Blackout, has begun on PS4 and while the game was initially supporting 80 players, that number jumped to 88 after yesterday’s patch. Yeap, in just a day the game’s player count has been risen so it will be interesting to see whether Blackout will support up to 100 players like other battle royale titles do. Insurgency: Sandstorm delayed until December 12

Focus Home Interactive has announced that Insurgency: Sandstorm, the sequel to the critically-acclaimed indie hit Insurgency, will now release for the PC on December 12th. According to the publisher, the extra time will allow developers New World Interactive to improve and polish their gem, and make Sandstorm a stand-out title in the modern FPS genre. EA refuses to back down on loot box ban in Belgium

Over the last couple of months, several big gaming publishers, namely Valve, Blizzard and 2K Games, have all given up a substantial amount of income in online transactions from both Belgian and Dutch players. This comes as a result of a loot box ban issued by the Kansspelcommissie (gaming commission) that decrees all forms of online gambling must be removed from video games.
