NBA 2K12 PC Update Released

Now here is a nice surprise. 2K Games have released a new update for the PC version of NBA 2K12. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting one so this is definitely great news for all those PC basketball fans. This update comes with lots of fixes, improvements to its gameplay, tweaks on the game’s AI and corrections to some network errors that would cause games to end prematurely. Modder ‘GiantTurkeyFish’ has released a new, interesting lighting mod for Skyrim. Skryim Visuals – The Outdoors is a mod that changes the overall color of the weather and sunlight of Skyrim’s outdoor environments. Skyrim’s distance fog color has been change from a blue to more of a white and nights are dark enough that torches are more commonly used without sacrificing the ability see while in the dark. Alan Wake PC Update #2 Released; reduced CPU usage, improved mouse responsiveness, removed auto-aim

Remedy and Nordic Games have released the second patch for the PC version of Alan Wake. This new update comes with improved low level mouse reading routines to make the control cope better with low and variable frame rates, reduced CPU use when game doesn’t have focus, as well as a -directaiming command line parameter that removes all mouse acceleration. The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav slightly delayed; slated now for a Q2 2012 release

Daedalic Entertainment and Deep Silver decided to extend the development of the game in order to further optimize the game’s performance. As a result of that, The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav is now expected to be released towards the end of Q2 2012. The precise date will be announced shortly. Diablo III – FXAA Injector Modded vs Vanilla Version

I’m pretty sure that a lot of you were disappointed with Diablo III’s new, ‘cartoonish’ art direction. Thankfully, there is an FXAA Injector Mod for it and you can see below the difference between the modded and the vanilla version. The FXAA mod works as a direct3d post processing filter, making the game look sharper, have less saturation, add a slight bit of a (silver) sepia tone, slightly lowered exposure, slightly raised gamma. Medal of Honor: Warfighter – Debut Trailer; coming on October 23rd

Electronic Arts has just released the official teaser trailer of the next game in Medal of Honor franchise titled as “Medal of Honor: Warfighter”. In addition, the teaser trailer has revealed the release date of the game. Medal of Honor: Warfighter is coming on current generation consoles and PC on October 23rd. And yeah, it looks like a mix between Call of Duty and Battlefield 3. Here is hoping that the end result will be better than a simple mashup of those two franchises. Battlefield 3 – GDC 2012 will bring new things to the table, PC patch will come with optimizations

GDC 2012 is about to start, but what does this mean for our beloved Swedish developer that is behind the Battlefield series? Although we don’t have a lot of information, we do know that GDC 2012 will bring more and new things to the table. When a fan expressed his thoughts about DICE’s latest decisions, Daniel Matros responded and said that this was one of the reasons that DICE decided to release the big fixlist. Take On Helicopters – Update 1.04 ‘Cougar’ Released

Bohemia Interactive has released a major new patch for their latest game, Take On Helicopters. Applying update 1.04 – codenamed Cougar – will refine the experience of flying across the wide variety of helicopter gameplay by implementing a massive upgrade to the flight model. It also brings an initial introduction to Java scripting safely to land and lifts all DRM-restrictions for users of legitimate installations.
