Bio: John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved - and still does - the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the "The Evolution of PC graphics cards."

Respawn has announced that a new update for APEX Legends that will come out on October 6th will add beta support for cross-play between PC, Xbox One and PS4. As such, PC gamers will be finally able to play APEX Legends with their Xbox One and PS4 friends.

Capcom has removed Denuvo from Resident Evil 3 Remake

Capcom has released a new update for the PC version of Resident Evil 3 Remake that removes the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Now while this anti-tamper tech did not affect the game’s performance, I’m pretty sure that some gamers will be grateful that the game does no longer uses it.

Modder ‘Rivarez’ has announced that a new AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack will soon come out for the first F.E.A.R. game. Rivarez has used Topaz A.I. Gigapixel neural network in order to upscale and enhance the original textures.
