Far Cry: The Wild Expedition – Coming To PC Next Month

Now here is something interesting for all our Far Cry fans. According to Videogamer, Ubisoft will release next month a new Far Cry title called “Far Cry: The Wild Expedition”. Although we don’t know much about it, Far Cry: The Wild Expedition’s existence was revealed via Ubisoft’s release schedule.
Alien: Isolation Officially Announced – New Screenshots + Trailers

SEGA has officially unveiled Alien: Isolation. As we’ve already said, players will take the role of Ellen Ripley’s daughter, Amanda. The game is planned for a late 2014 release on PC, X360, PS3, PS4 and Xbox One, and SEGA has released a new set of screenshots and two trailers for it. Enjoy!

A lot of Hitman fans were ready to commit suicide yesterday when a rumor surfaced, suggesting that the next-gen Hitman game has already been cancelled. As always, we hesitated sharing such a thing until we were certain about it. And it appears that this rumor was not legit, as Square Enix shot it down today.

AMD’s Answer To Nvidia’s G-Sync Tech Is Called “Freesync”

Man, this “gen-battle” is going to be really interesting. Nvidia vs AMD. Android support versus consoles support. TressFX vs PhysX. And G-Sync versus FreeSync. AnandTech has revealed that AMD’s answer to Nvidia’s mind-blowing G-Sync tech is called “FreeSync” and does not require any hardware modifications at all. That is of course if your monitor supports VBLANK.
Report: AMD’s Mantle Is 45% Faster Than DirectX, 20+ Games Being Developed For It

Now that’s more like it. PurePC has leaked some slides from an AMD presentation in which the red team claimed tha Mantle is 45% faster than DirectX. As AMD revealed, the Oxide demo ran with 10fps on an A8-7600 APU in DirectX mode.
