DayZ Standalone Surpasses 3 Million Sold Copies, New Version Will Take Advantage Of DX11

Bohemia Interactive announced today that yesterday DayZ achieved 3,000,000 sales. As the team noted, this number is for the standalone version of the extremely popular Arma 2 modification created by Dean Hall, that has started and defined an entire genre of video gaming and inspired many other games studios.

Beam Team Games announced today that its survival game – that surprisingly does not evolve zombies, hooray – Stranded Deep is now available on Steam Early Access. In Stranded Deep, players take the role of a plane crash survivor stranded somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. Experience terrifying encounters both above and below an endless environment.

Trials Fusion – Online Multiplayer Comes As A Free Update, Fire in Deep DLC Releases Next Week

Ubisoft has announced that Online Multiplayer is now available as a free update in Trials Fusion. Players can now face off in three new four to eight player multiplayer modes. Additionally, the fourth and largest downloadable content pack to date, Fire in Deep, will be available next week on January 27th.

Dying Light – Global Launch Dates Confirmed

Techland announced today the updated global launch dates for Dying Light. The game will have a worldwide digital release on PC of January 27th. In North and South America, the digital release and physical copies for PS4 and Xbox One will be available at the same day.

NVIDIA has released a new WHQL driver for its graphics cards. The GeForce 347.25 WHQL driver expands Multi-Frame Sampled Anti-Aliasing (MFAA) support for DX10/DX11 games, and is described as the ideal driver for Dying Light (that releases next week).
