And another F2P game bites the dust. Ubisoft has just announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Phantoms will go offline on December 1st. Ghost Recon Phantoms was a tactical, 3rd-person, team-based shooter that allows players to engage in fierce 16-player online matches, and was released on April 10th, 2014.

Microsoft cancels Halo Online

Back in 2015, Microsoft announced a F2P multiplayer version of Halo for the PC, called Halo Online. Halo Online was powered by a reworked version of the Halo 3 Engine, and was meant to be released first in Russia. However, it appears that Halo Online will never get officially released.
