Riot Games introduces tray icon and notifications to Valorant’s anti-cheat system, Vanguard

After heavy criticism, Riot Games has updated the anti-cheat system/program for Valorant. As such, the latest version of Vanguard introduces a tray icon and notifications pop-ups. These new additions, according to the team, will make it easier to disable Vanguard when you’re not playing the game.

Tripwire Interactive announced today its use of Quixel Megascans in the creation of Maneater. According to the press release, Tripwire artists will now have a strong base of mesh and texture information to build from. Moreover, they will now be able to bring the varied and unique open-world environments to life in Maneater.

The Khronos Group has publicly released the OpenCL 3.0 Provisional Specifications. OpenCL 3.0 realigns the OpenCL roadmap to enable developer-requested functionality to be broadly deployed by hardware vendors, and it significantly increases deployment flexibility by empowering conformant OpenCL implementations to focus on functionality relevant to their target markets.
Doom Eternal Mod restores cut graphics effects, like player shadow, anamorphic lens flares & more

Nikk Mann has released a pretty interesting mod for Doom Eternal. This mod attempts to restore some of graphics effects that id Software has cut from the game. Thus, you can enable player shadow (as well as self-shadowing), anamorphic lens flares and an improved HUD.
