Resident Evil 7 – Latest version of the Denuvo anti-tamper tech cracked in less than five days

When it was first introduced, Denuvo seemed like the perfect tool for developers to protect their games. And to be honest, Denuvo actually worked as the first games that were powered by it remained uncracked for several months. However, things have changed.

The latest version of Denuvo that was used in Resident Evil 7 has been cracked in less than five days. This basically means that all Denuvo games may be cracked (in the coming months), and that future games protected by it may be cracked in a matter of days.

This is big blow to all publishers who invested in this anti-tamper tech. On the other hand, this will please a number of PC gamers who boycotted games that were protected by Denuvo.

The big question now is whether Capcom will remove Denuvo from its title in order to boost the game’s sales. As said, there is a number of PC gamers who refused to purchase the game due to Denuvo.

For what it’s worth, publishers and developers can freely remove Denuvo whenever they feel like it. Crytek, Playdead and Bethesda removed Denuvo from The Climb, Inside and Doom the moment those games were cracked.

As always, comments with links to pirated content are not allowed and will be deleted!

  1. I wonder how long it’ll take for Berseria to get it’s DRM removed and have it blow up on Bandai’s face and if it does get cracked early, maybe they’ll learn something (because I really want to get Ace Combat 7 and Ni No Kuni 2).

      1. Namco start releasing games on pc in 2011 with Dark sould 1. Denuvo didnt exist until 2014 so they have nothing to learn here.

    1. Well, cpy cracked god eater 1 and not 2, then a few months later bothered with 2, i guess it has to do with wherever they feel like it.

  2. I still really hope that people who can afford to get this game do, as it is one of the coolest horror games I have played. It is like those super cool E3 demos they show you, but never happen? Well this totally did, and it is so much fun!

Also best for me to note, that I have grown up playing Resident Evil and Silent Hill, and I couldn’t be more happier with this!

I was tired of Mute, boring, and basically weak protagonists in most first person horror games, but Resident Evil doesn’t do that, and has a really badass protagonist who not only kicks a*s but really reacts and satisfyingly flips off the bad guys.

    1. i deleted it after playing for couple hours, it was very boring to me, too boring and simplistic, i try to avoid story driven games as much as i can, they bore me to sleep

    2. its not the only game outhere and people buy games on steam, thats why steam is successful and pc gaming is doing so well, not cuz of denuvo.

    1. They have 2015 games uncracked. All biggest AAA publishers including EA, Ubi, Square Enix funding them constantly.

      Your gif is bs.

      1. First: What games are you even talking about? Just Cause 3? You think anyone gives a sh*t about it? No. It’s not cracked because CPY got better games to crack right now, but at their pace, you can expect a JC3 crack any day now.
Second: Publishers can throw any money they want at denuvo, it doesn’t matters now. 3DM were AVOIDING protection, by exploiting some imperfections/bugs, which denuvo was immediately patching up. CPY have found a way to REMOVE denuvo completely..
3DM era (2015): it gets harder and harder to crack because denuvo improves their code by simply fixing the exploits 3dm used.
CPY era (2016): it gets faster and faster to crack games, no new versions seem to be helping denuvo at all, instead of slowing down, CPY only releases cracks faster, with recent one being the hero of today’s report: Resident Evil 7, a triple-A title, that you can bet your sweet a*s, has latest version of denuvo possible and still was cracked in about 4 days.

So no, deer friend, this gif looks pretty true to me.

Hail CPY. I just hope they won’t be bought by denuvo and stop making cracks, but then somebody else will. There is ALWAYS somebody else.

        1. That ***** posted some dying gif crap, meanwhile denuvo is funded by so many people at the same time it’s unreal.

Doesn’t matter if games get cracked in 5 days, as long as people pay for denuvo, denuvo wins anyway.

          1. There was a post on reddit from some developer, who said himself that denuvo charges a lot of money for their protection. Now, why would anyone be paying that, if they can’t even guarantee a week of sales without a game being cracked? I mean sure, let them pay it, I don’t care. I just think that if CPY keeps cracking games as fast, there will be no point to pay denuvo for a day or two of protection. But hey, that’s just me, I’m no businessman…

          2. I bought it on december 2015 for free with gift card i had so i didnt pay money. I had tons of fans with it! I killed lot of enemys and caused lot of destruction! If you have like action adventure/shooters you will also like it. It was worth the buy even if in my case i got it for free thanks to gift card! Very very fun and good game!

          4. Because that’s all they really care about, in the end; keeping it out of the hands of pirates for as long as possible, even if that period is only 7 days.

Sure, it’ll make a lot of companies reconsider, especially the less Anti-Piracy gung-ho nutjobs, but the major sociopaths like Electronic Asswipes, Square Pegs, ZeniMax Butthurts & U-BE-SOFT will most probably still run to be first in line for the “latest & greatest” iteration of Denuvo, no matter how long it lasts.

On the other hand, I’m betting Activision is popping champagne corks & mocking the sh*t out of their competition (Activision never used Denuvo even once, so far ^^).

        2. I personally believe it has to do with triggers. More complex game, the more triggers. I dont get why cpy does not give the tech to some other scene group..OH WAIT, scene groups do what they do for fame not for piracy, they want bragging rights not everyone to get free games.

      2. Why woudlnt they be uncracked? There is one scene group cracking everything, as for his gif, their license sales will go down if new games can be cracked in 4 days.

          1. Yeah. And much of it’s appeal comes from it online features, it really does not need a complicate solution.

          2. What about them?

EA also put Denuvo on Battlefront. Why? Because they’re insane. Online Multiplayer games with tacked-on Campaign modes that nobody gives a f*ck about don’t need Denuvo, but since EA seems to get their licenses for free (they partially funded the development for it), I guess they’re more than eager to show off what mega-c*nts they really are, as usual.

      3. So, the entirety of your argument is; the crack groups have yet to do a Denuvo Crack Marathon that involves going through Denuvo’s backlog catalogue?

        Dude, that’s sad.

  3. How many months ago was it that there were several article floating around saying “is piracy dead?” 3? 4?

    1. Piracy will never die, specially now when we are moving to drm free era with humble store and others

  4. Once a game is great then i see no reason to think of pirating a game at all. Once is trash then it up too the individual. Resident Evil is great game no need pirate and it’s cheap pc games are cheap.

    1. lol, games are cheap if you’re a kid living at home with the parents! In the real world its called money and unless you’re making thousands a week then yes games are cheap! I always wait for the sales as no game is worth top dollar not to me. Games are more expensive than a film these days and there is less going on in a game yet they rip us off! Lower taxes and see how the public smiles, do the same with games. But if you’re a millionaire please share some dough!

      1. Games have always been more expensive than films… And they typically offer a better value for money, too.

      2. A game is worth more then a game and it should be a movie offers 2 hours of enjoyment when a game can easily offer 60 or more. This game alone is 6-8 hours long.

      3. Get F out the comment I’m referring games on the PC are cheap compare to the console’s. There are so many sites to get them. 60 f no. 30 to 40 OK

      4. The problem with buying games with 60 bucks is not the game itself, the problem is that no game is complete and functional on release or optimized, nor it offers anything new. I like buying games wherever i feel like it, rather when they are out.

    2. That’s not why (some) people pirate. I know some people who crack legitimately-bought games because they don’t want the DRM that comes with them. This is a case of pirates getting a less restrictive, less intrusive version of a game than the people who paid for it, and that’s inexcusable.

  5. only Square-Enix games survived piracy using this protection

it’s not the method itself it’s the developer not knowing how to use it

    1. Only Hitman and Just Cause 3 to go, Deus Ex and Tomb Raider got cracked. Btw, isn’t Hitman online only, maybe it’s the reason it is uncracked

      1. if a game survives piracy for more than 3 months it can be claimed a winner against pirates

SE games did that for sure

      2. That’s a lie. Apart from Mirror’s edge all EA games since FIFA 16 are uncracked. There’s also a ton of tinier releases that are not cracked.

  6. I just have to laugh myself, what will those idiots at Denuvo Head Office do now? Perhaps they should have never boasted so much and conned so many into buying it. Now they will see how CPY hacked RE7 and they will change it but in the end its like Tom & Jerry a simple game of cat and mouse. GOG.COM makes money and as they say a well known title that we all love will pay for those games, however as DRM (starforce) messed up or in better words broke one of my PC’s which no game company that helped this happen paid me compensation. So DRM can suck it! Now Denovu is being beaten and removed life is happy once more!

    1. Hell yeah, never accept DRM. Such an intrusive POS like Starforce = Denuvo = same crap should never be tolerated by gamers!
DRM free is the only way!!

      1. This one was, by far, worst than any DRM. This “protection” hides the code from data miners and modders. Anyone could put into their program (game or other) do anything and you wouldn’t know (until cracked….maybe).

Nothing worst, in my opinion. It tries to undermine the principles of PC.

    2. But Tom has killed Jerry some times. Just like i finaly killed Splinter 1 month ago and believe me he was much more harder to kill than Jerry.

      1. They’ll be cracked in a matter of days. Yawn again. Also, other scene groups will find a way to crack denuvo, just like CPY did.

I’m sorry son, it has been like that for as long as I remember.

    3. > “Now they will see how CPY hacked RE7”
Learn the difference between hacking and cracking silly noob.

    1. Just Cause 3 says otherwise. And don’t say nobody wants to play that because that’s not true.

      1. Well it’s just funny JC3 uses the same tech… Yet Doom’s and RE7’s was said to be better.. So what’s really going on with it?

        1. Nobody gives a f’ about it, that’s what. There were newer, better games and CPY didn’t want to switch to JC until they proven that they can crack a game in first week. Now we’ll probably see JC3 crack in few days. Or maybe they’ll crack last remaining games first, like Dishonored-2.

        2. italian hacker group cracks all these games, they crack which ever they want/can and they still need some time for each release

      2. CPY cracks what they want to crack when they want to…….
if they wanted JC3 cracked they would have

Anyway the game is so cheap right now and most people who wanted the game badly would have bought it….

      3. Well he has gone back to crack mgs v and arkham knight but not rise of the tomb raider, just cause 3 abzu and the new sherlock holmes game.

Seems to me he just aint interested enough, like say sports games.

  7. Man, my understanding is that if Denuvo is broken then the publisher are no longer beholden to Denuvo to keep paying for their service. But if my game was broken that quickly I’d want a refund and/or service extension.

    1. I recall some rumors some time ago about Denuvo giving refunds if the game is cracked in less than 3 months, this case would merit a spanking on top of giving refunds.

      1. What he said. 90 days protection, guaranteed. If it’s cracked before then (i.e. DOOM, for example), then they’re allowed to request a refund, so long as they patch Denuvo out of the cracked game, first.

Also, as I said before; if this keeps up, I can definitely see them sorely reconsidering that 90 days guarantee period, which would most likely result in them dropping it down to something far more manageable, like 14 days, or some such.

Assuming CPY doesn’t just make it a habit of cracking everything in under a week from now on, that is, in which case….

        *Death Knells*

        😀

          1. I’ve grown up playing resident evil and silent Hill, and I think this resident evil is fantastic. See out of the two, resident evil keeps evolving and is thus doing better.

          2. Um if you even think for a second this is CoD-esque you need serious help. just because something is first person doesnt make it CoD, and if people DO think that, theyre either massively narrow minded or 11 years old. mirrors edge is first person….omg it must be a CoD ripoff…oh and outlast, oh my god amnesia too! oh no PT was also CoD in disguise!!!! how could we have been tricked so badly…you fcking idiot

        1. i trolled for a bit back then because it was entertaining for my self, i legit found this to be tedious, main reason is it’s full of cringy jump scares and it’s story driven

  8. They done it in less than 5 days was probably thanks the DEMO that was with Denuvo too.

So now Capcom and other publisher “maybe they’ll learn something” huh?

So now we may get even less Demo on PC now that they know this. 🙁

    1. The way denuvo works,in every update they run the protection again so vm code obfuscation and triggers completely changes.

So cracking demo wouldn’t help CPY at all,it would be a waste of time.

It is just that they found an efficent method of cracking denuvo faster (as we can understand from 4 denuvo game releases in 20 days)

And i don’t think Denuvo can patch this without writing a complete new protection,as cracks continue to roll without a problem since the first ROTTR release.

      1. I see… but it’s still strange, cpy takes something like 20 days to release they cracks, so I will only believe that cpy can do this when they release one for a game that didn’t have a demo.

But.. anyway Denuvo is pretty dead by now unless publishers wants they games to be protected to at least 1 or 2 days.

      1. Agreed, wait for the only-partly-deserved, yet-completely-&-utterly-inevitable Game of the Year Edition, instead.

        Better price, too ^^

  9. “The big question now is whether Capcom will remove Denuvo from its title in order to boost the game’s sales.”

doubt they will. this is capcom that we are talking about. they like some sort of protection on their games. even if denuvo already failed they would still going to keep it rather than leaving their games wide open without any protection at all.

    1. I get the impression that most of the publishers using it would rather impede paying customers with DRM than allow it to be SLIGHTLY easier to pirate. If they prove me wrong by removing it then they have another sale from me.

  10. Going to start pirating EA games starting this year, they owe me 33 games (thanks CPY in advance). other than that going to buy good games at least one year after release (bought only civ6 at release last year and maybe Dawn of War 3 this year), cheaper and more patched up.

    1. It’s sad really because for the most part EA delivers probably the best ports out of all the big publishers (Ubisoft, Microsoft, Square Enix etc) but they are are just greedy and have zero morals.

      1. What is so greedy about let’s say Battlefield that is not in capcom’s games? I love these random haters that spread crap.

      2. Well optimised, but more often than not, extremely broken at launch, too.

Cue Andromeda being a joke at launch, for example.

          1. – New Studio.
            – Called BioWare.
            – Using Frostbite Engine.

            See: Dragon Age: Inquisition.
            See: Electronic Arts.

Not to mention all the various production problems we keep hearing about, which leads me & many others, really, to assume it’s going to be a mess at launch pushed out 6+ months too early by EA, “because it’s EA.”

      1. They banned my country and blocked all of our access to our games, origin won’t work here anymore and you don’t have access to the games that you already paid for. so i will pirate anything that gets a crack from EA.

        1. So you’re from Myanmar or one of the other countries that was sanctioned? This happened 3 months ago so unless they still haven’t lifted the ban that’s total bullshit. Also, if you really do still not have access to Origin, get any VPN (TunnelBear possibly) and set region to USA or any country not affected by the ban.

          1. Nope, Iran. many of the Sanctions lifted but EA decide to put some new ones in there. It works with VPN but until they remove it and i can access my games without bannable offence (VPN) i’m going with piracy.

          2. I don’t see how VPN can be detected by origin.Even if you get banned you have every right to demand access on their support line.

          3. Blizzard mass banned alot of us few years ago in similar situation then we made a thread and explained it to them they lifted it, well that’s blizzard and it’s really popular here unlike EA.

About support line, here is a thing, they don’t even bother answering to our tickets.

  11. I like the look of the game. If they remove it then I’ll buy it – especially if they sell it on GOG – if not, I won’t play it.

  12. Look at The Witcher 3 and No-DRM Great Game Policy -> That one sold the Game in Milions now 😀
    Make Games not DRMs 😀

UPD. Besides RE7 sold ~3mln copies right now 😉 So it’s an sucess afterall.
    Optimisation? Check
    Demo? Check
    GFX & Music OK? Check
    Gameplay OK? Check

    1. Good that it sold but is it enough to justify the cost? Holy damn cornflakes re6 development costs were high. Hopefully now with re7 we can go back at survival horror.

    1. you can spend money you’d spend on buying gum and buy that game, sounds like some pc gamers need something worse than denuvo

  13. I am definetly one of those that will never ever buy a game with such abomination like Denuvo. And finaly we may see the last days of it, so lets hope this continue and it will be a thing of the past!

Devs/publs should learn from GOG = No DRM is the only way!!

  14. Even if it wasnt cracked i wasnt going to buy it soon since on easy you can finish it in 3 hours from what i read on forums!

        1. if you choice the hardest difficulty then items will spawns completely random, if you don’t want that, you can play easy or normal!

  15. The next denuvo game For Honor is coming on 2 weeks. Then on March we have 3 Denuvo games(Ghost recon wildlands Mass effect andromeda and Dead Rising 4 steam rlease) So it will be instresting to see if those 4 games will also get cracked in less than a week. Glad i didnt bought re7!

      1. Whicb bring the question how newer games like re7 and watchdogs cracked faster while older games like just cause 3 remain uncracked

        1. I’d say it’s because they’re trying to show dominance. They want to crack new games, with newest protection. The faster they do it, they more famous they get. They don’t do it so we could have our free games. They do it for fame. There are still few old games uncracked because it makes little sense for them to do it and there are still enough newer games for them to purge of denuvo.

        1. MGS5 was first cracked by chinese 3DM back in 2015, soon after release, but that crack was buggy as hell. Laste year CPY released their own crack that works just fine.

..The game itself is total garbage, though…

          1. The core gameplay is great, I’m still replaying missions and sideops and messing around with different loadouts and coming up with custom objectives, but the overall game is blatantly incomplete and what little story it has is complete garbage.

          2. “..The game itself is total garbage, though..”

Hey i like open world mercenary stuff and mgs 3 and mgs 4 cutscenes became too cringy to care about story.

        1. clearly enough million people or EA wouldn’t be releasing it annually with so much investments

      1. it has single player too it is not just multiplayer/ it has afull single player campgain like most game do

      2. Assuming it even gets Denuvo, in the first place.

So far I’m only aware of EA using Denuvo on online-only &/or online-oriented games, like Battlefront (online-only), Battlefield 1, & Titanfall 2 (online-oriented), but they quite possibly get their licenses either for free, or at a heavy discount, considering they funded part of Denuvo’s development process, so, yeah.

    1. ” Dead Rising 4 steam rlease)”

ha, thats nice, what about that other game with the cores? You know that you got those colored cores and robots? When is that coming on steam?

      1. Dead rising is 3 months windows store exculive http://www.gamespot.com/articles/dead-rising-4-is-a-timed-exclusive-for-xbox-one-an/1100-6440999/
Iam waiting for steam release. You mean ReCore ? It has not been announced for steam and i have not bought it yet because i am waiting until it get released on steam or gets craced but it seems like windows store drm is stronger than denuvo since none of the recent windows store games(gears of war 4 forza recore has been cracked yet.

    1. No it’s not, it has optional DRM, called Steamworks.
Steam is an online store client, not DRM

However, in my opinion, online store clients are even worse than DRM.
I choose GOG, because I can get a game installer, and ignore their client.

DRM free is best, but given a choice between no DRM, or no client, I’d dump the client.

That goes for multi-player as well, the game should need no store client, to play online, that should be part of the game.

  16. Good. I hope people have Mass Effect Androgyny up before release and can tell everyone what a piece of @$#% it is and how game journalism lied to them again about a Bioware game when Bioware died after ME 3 when even the founders left. Meanwhile Witcher 3 will probably pass 15 million in sales by then with no DRM.

Hint for game devs. Know your base. Do not antagonize that base and have people like Manveer Heir call white people a different species. Do not push crap on them they do not want so you can get a higher score from corrupt game journalism who is on a LBGT acceptance jihad. Make an actual good game. If you can’t do these things you deserve to go under and so does game journalism.

    1. The Mass Effect series is still great and who cares if they want to be more diverse. There’s no thematic restriction that should keep it from being so and Manver Heir, yeah he’s pretty much a racist but do you honestly believe he is the only racist in the industry? This is a case of having to separate art from the person. And as far as I recall he’s just a game designer anyway. Bioware has always added lots of diversity to their games but now diversity is immediately seen as PC/SJW pandering and even if they are pandering, what truly is the issue? What’s the tangible issue? I get that Dorian was over the top in Inquisition but overall I don’t see huge problems with it regardless if it’s SJW or not. A great game will always be a great game.

      1. Oh please. Drew Karpyshyn left after 2. Casey Hudson left after 3. They both were also the leads on KOTOR. EA cancelled his new game (anything original will never really get made) and just wanted a quick cash grab before they shut down Edmonton and Montreal for good. They already closed down the Bioware forums. The only thing that will exist after this game is Bioware Austin. That is why Drew is there who just came back from writing novels. It will remain profitable as long as they can find suckers who just saw a Star Wars movie to try it out. SWTOR class stories before expansions are better than their single player games now. That is because the founders were still there. It being a MMO makes that hilarious.

Also about pandering I am not talking about Dorian. I am talking about Krem, which broke Quinari lore to push pseudo science in a video game. Namely that a woman who decides she is a man is now a real man. It was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in a game and Dragon Age Inquisition had the ONE remaining non Austin employee worth a darn and he left to. Bioware making anything but SWTOR expansions is not happening. David Gaider tweeted all day and night about how awesome Witcher 3 was the last few weeks. Want to know why? Cus Bioware can’t make that game. He gets it…

Do you actually think Sam Maggs who has never wrote fiction in her life (besides claiming to be virtually raped in GTA 5) is going to be handed this mythical new game (that will never be made) as a writer? They hired her to promote, defend their last cash grab. She was a writer at “The Mary Sue”, and they have feminists attacking all criticism of Bioware atm, even when these idiots will not even buy the game or are not even fans of the franchises. She was hired for past promotions and defense of Bioware and to get a free defense force and advertising. That is how pathetic Bioware is now. They had to OUTSOURCE the lead writer for ME:A and he was not involved in characters or anything lol. He wrote the main plot arc for them and left. He was the writer on Halo 4 which sucked.

        1. That’s the thing. I know a lot of RPG fans hated that they streamlined it but I always enjoyed it as a third person shooter first and foremost because the shooting mechanics coupled with the powers was still satisfying especially in ME3.

      2. “The Mass Effect series is still great”

        Yeah, no.

The Mass Effect series has had, to date; ONE great entry, upon which its entire existence has endured to this day & TWO mediocre entries, with a thoroughly disgraceful one coming up soon.

        1. Let me guess, ME1 was a great RPG with shooter elements but the others are casualized trash for the console plebs?

          1. ME1: Old School RPG.
ME2: Third Person Shooter trying to masquerade as an RPG.
ME3: Weird mix of the two.

I admit, the “select your game style” thing was good (think, why did they even do that? Because people reacted quite poorly to ME2’s new “SHOOT ‘EM UP!” direction, obviously), but since they haven’t said a word about it for Andromeda, I expect they’re not going to be doing it again (read: too much effort).

          2. See the thing is, I always played the game from the perspective of a shooter. I admit bioware simplified the gameplay a lot it received negativity from some but to me it’s still one of the best third person shooters out there. ME3 especially with it’s powers were great compared to your generic third person shooter. Above all though, I really enjoyed the characters and the story. Yeah it was the typical “save the world story” but I still found it well done. The ending was bad but at least bioware tried to fix it but I’m not gonna lie, learning that the original team isn’t there anymore is a bit worrying.

          3. Sorry I’m late, my ISP…. yeah, anyway.

Yeah, the story was fine, they got that “choose your gameplay style” thing, which was great, the gameplay was fine, but that ending killed the entire game, & the series both, really, because it was just that bad, even if we exclude the whole generic “save the world!” storyline.

“Tried to fix it” – myeh. They shored up some of the moronically rushed over parts, sure, but they didn’t exactly “fix” the overwhelming issues with it – namely that there’s no difference between the…. dozen or so different endings, they’re just tiny variations of each other, which made your entire journey through all 3 games completely irrelevant, in the end, as a result.

Eh, at least they got out before BioWare really went to sh*t, unlike DICE – the lower levels quit years ago, but the upper tiers of DICE are the same…… Pathetic.

    2. Hey man, if ti has open worlf sci fi, ill play it, but thats it, i dont carea bout the mass effect lore or story anymore. Hmm seems this will be one of the few open world game that will benefit from the repetitive sidemissions that will comprise most of the game in contrast with the little narrative, since the narrative will be too cringeworthy to care about.

      1. “Open World” in quotations, more like.

Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if their idea of “Open World” = “Linear Third Person Shooter with Side Missions”, really.

      1. Usually these games get 1 crack, and you need update for dlc, and updated version don’t get crack

        1. That will change because they used to need 2 weeks for a crack, now only few days so they can supply updates easily if they want.

          1. Of course. More will come, and get cracked. Capcom will remove denuvo soon, hoping to get anti-denuvo buyers. It has no point keeping it now.

    1. LOL so?

They paid good money for the Denuvo license, with a 90-days guarantee. It’s more than likely they’re going to want that refund way more than they’ll want to protect a piece of sh*t Season Pass for a middle-of-the-pack Resident Evil entry.

  17. Also I find it hilarious that we finally get low level API’s and our games run worse. We have MS wanting to run everything in a borderless Window which costs performance and having to make a game mode to try and get some of that performance back. That still won’t help the games that are just in a DX 12 wrapper. We had them also using their own Denuvo like DRM on Forza. We have Denuvo. We have overlay after overlay which can conflict.

Our ports are already bad enough devs. Stop costing us performance and load times. It adds up. Denuvo is doing nothing but ticking people off and costing devs money. These are not lost sales.

  18. That’s super quick. If I were Capcom I’d remove Denuvo asap, no reason to pay them for protection that is no longer effective.
On a related note, RE 7 is the best RE game I’ve played in years and it runs well for me too, so I have no problem in buying it, I hope Capcom continues in this vein for the series.

    1. Yup it is just costing them sales at this point. Our ports more and more want to be on a SSD and people are under the impression that it harms SSD’s or really puts a dent in their life. The performance cost is claimed to be only a few percent as well, but that few percent can mean 59 FPS and jittery or 60.

  19. The only thing i hate about games is the DLC’S..Capcom have done very bad move to import DLC in Resident Evil 7 after only 1 week..First Banned Footage Vol.1 dlc tommorow…Second Banned Footage Vol. 2 at 14 February..What a joke..And not only from Capcom..ALL the companies must stop create dlc’s…Dlc’s has become a bad joke…

  20. I am not even saying that (other than the Krem transgender nonsense). Look at Witcher 3. It had SUPER strong female characters, a gay guy, a cross dresser. The difference is that Witcher 3 let’s you see the gay stuff if you want. Want Cirri to be exclusively gay in your head canon? Choose it. Simple choices that mean you do not have to see or hear dialogue you do not wish to see. That makes both LBGT and people that do not agree with all those acronyms happy. Bioware could easilly do this but instead they want to force you to be in a gay bar, with Cortez hitting on you while you are already in a relationship, while pushing transgender fantasies as hard science which many pediatricians are saying is HARMFUL for children.

The thing is Bioware does not even give a darn about the LBGT community. They do this just so they can call you a racist bigot (LBGT is not a race) if you critique the game in any way and to get higher scores from laughable websites like IGN who is based in San Francisco. Heck they even had a IGN employee as a character in ME 3 with Diana Allers (Jessica Chobot). If I was LBGT or black I would be offended at being made a shield, but intersectional feminism does not use logic or common sense so they aren’t. Lot’s of black people are sick of being used as shields but they don’t get put on television. The black community is about the last community in the U.S. that goes for this transgender nonsense.

In fact I would argue that Bioware has HARMED the LBGT community. Did anyone complain about Witcher? Nope. When Bioware wants to act as if 1 percent of the population is the majority in DA:I though? Yeah they complained. Rightfully so. Doesn’t even matter anyways. ME:A will be their last game with a big budget. EA can have a new studio/team make KOTOR/Star Wars stuff and already is with Amy Hennig and Visceral. Mass Effect is permanently damaged goods after 3. The Dragon Age brand is worth nothing. KOTOR is the only property they have under Bioware still worth money and Bioware Austin (EAware) handles it.

  21. dont even speak to that piece of crap, he thinks anyone on pc is a pirate, even when you show him the 285 purchased titles on steam he still says youre tricking him somehow and he “sees right through your bs” hes a tool, plain and simple

  22. “. And to be honest, Denuvo actually worked as the first games that were powered by it remained uncracked for several months. However, things have changed”

Really? I thought “worked” means “increased sales” which did not happen.

It is almost as if pirates dont buy games so it is a waste of time trying to prevent them from playing those games.

  23. I dont see how jc3 is worse than 2, it has better missions, better gunplay, better sidemissions without the awful upgrade system and it is far more polished.

    1. Hey, go here
      dsogaming…..com/news/sniper-ghost-warrior-3-open-beta-phase-begins-on-february-3rd/

and check the comments and some profiles with their history before they hide it.

  24. Damn.
No one supports companies protecting their property.

So I want your apartments and houses to all be DRM free please, you all like sharing, well sharing is caring. Seems no one has a right to make money, free for all is what the internet demands. F… protecting what you make.
