Battlefield fans, here is something for you today. Three brand new screenshots for Battlefield 1 have been leaked online, showing a new plane, a Battleship and a forest map. Thanks to the Frostbite 3 Engine, Battlefield 1 looks quite stunning. The game is currently planned for an October 21st release. Enjoy!

Really? It’s most likely a pass for me. Its too dumbed down and very casual to me. Feels more like Battlefront than a Battlefield title.
Time will see.
What are your dealbreakers? Sure it’s not perfect, also nothing even close to it. I want options just as much as the next person, however no one else is delivering.
Just the feel and pacing of the game, the gun vs gun is really poor, its too rock, paper, scissors between the classes and skill isn’t even a factor.
CSGO has still been delivering high skill gameplay for years.
CSGO is not even in the same playing field as BF. BF has land air and sea covered with squads and large maps with multiple battlefields in play at once. Not even comparable.
Yeah and CSGO offers solid. balanced. polished, skill based gameplay, with a HUGE community and developer that somewhat understands the community instead of making trailers.

I’ve bought and played all of the battlefield series (minus hardline). I know it’s something I want so why not, you can always cancel if something changes.
also I don’t believe Origin actually charges your credit card until the game is released.

Yea indeed, and if i’m not mistaken dice aren’t glorified downgraders. Quite a talentful dev if you ask me.
Not the best, but they know their staff
You never know but like you said it’s dice not ubisoft.
Both Dice and Ubisoft make some of the best-looking games around, downgrades or not, so I’m not worried about it. Battlefield 4, Assassin’s Creed Unity, The Division, Star Wars Battlefront…all of these games are among the best looking games on PC.
I see nerf, not Warships or Aircraft.

Looks great, should run well (Frostbite is hella optimized for pc) I hope they put some effort into improving the singleplayer campaign. I’m one of those weird people that will pick up a COD or BF mainly to tackle the sp campaign
