Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, Journey & Steins;Gate Reported Coming To Steam

Holy bloody hell. If this latest Steam database leak is anything to go by, then PC gamers can look forward to some really interesting console ports. And while most PC gamers expected Microsoft’s exclusive titles to hit the PC, it appears that we’ll be getting first some of Sony exclusives games.

And to be honest, this would not really shock us. Street Fighter V is coming on PC and PS4 only, and Final Fantasy VII Remake is coming first on PS4 (and our guess is that it will hit the PC afterwards).

So, according to Steam’s database leak, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, Journey and Steins;Gate are coming to Steam. Oh, and there are reports for a new Bad Rats game.

The complete list of Steam’s database leak can be found here. Be warned, it’s a huge list.

A release of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster on the PC makes it crystal clear that both Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy XV will eventually hit the PC.

What really surprised us, however, was witnessing Journey and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture. Both of them are exclusive to Sony’s platforms, so it makes us really. And since they are great games, it’s good to know that they may, one day, find their way on the PC.

Stay tuned for more everyone!

    1. Its actually pretty awesome I completed it with a friend on the ps3 (Disc based with flower I believe), Gets me excited to play it at a higher resolution because that game is so beautiful.

  2. well not all of them will happen but some might. Helldivers is on PC and it’s Sony published game. that’s a huge step for Sony. so we might see Everbody’s Gone From Rapture and maybe Journey on PC. also isn’t Steins;Gate already on PC? i mean it’s not on Steam but it’s on PC. Steins;Gate 0 however isn’t.

  3. ?f it was Teken tag 2 or Bloodborne or something big yes but i dont care for those adventure games.

    1. Yeah… though given how general a name like “Journey” is, it could be a completely different game (not exactly sure of how accurate a Steam database log has to be. For instance, does it include subtitles?).

      1. Considering the recent appearance of Helldivers on Steam, which was also made on Sony’s money, it’s not impossible.

I’d say they’re decided to use Microsoft’s strategy by releasing their indie titles on Steam (Deadlight, Twisted Planet, Ori, etc.). This won’t hurt PS4, since their big exclusives will never come to PC anyway, but will give them some extra cash with minimum work.

        1. You know, MS has always had presence on PC so it’s not that strange if Sony would too (they had an MMO a while back didn’t they?). And if there’s precedent with Hell Divers then whose to say?

  4. I feel like i should point out here that a multitude of traditionally console-only titles got shown as “PS4 console exclusive” or “PS4 console debut” at this Sony PR show the other day, revealing that we might see the majority of these on PC at launch or shortly after as well.

    These tites include:
    -Final Fantasy VII Remake
    -Ni No Kuni II
    -Yakuza 0
    -Ni-oh
    -King of Fighters XIV

  5. Probably* not coming according to the official devs twitter. 🙁

*The way he phrased left the thing a little ambiguous.

  6. great news if true. i like to play ni no kuni2 on pc or nioh, not really interested in the rest of them but nice.

  7. I could see Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture coming to PC, Since The Chinese Room’s other games are already on Steam. Not really that fussed if Journey doesn’t come to Steam, Already finished it twice.
